"It is a lovely hotel. The room was new and well-appointed with some of the old bank building charm. It's upscale while being quaint and comfortable. We were on the 4th floor. The room had amazing upper windows. Very cool! The staff was lovely. Very accommodating and friendly. The location is ideal, right in the middle of town. We were very happy to stumble upon the Promissory Hotel!"

"The location is excellent. The staff are friendly. The parking price was reasonable. However, from about 11p-4a I was woken up repeatedly by people making very loud sexual sounds for hours on end which illuminated the entire area. Luckily my kids weren’t with me, but as a mature adult it was the most classless distasteful experience I’ve had at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. "Honestly the worst motel I’ve been to, found drugs in the room,dirty, broken bed, broken tv, lights don’t work and the owner and managers are extremely rude"

"Wiped out after being in the hospital all day, the staff was great at making check out fast, convenient and coffee in the lobby was perfect! Room was everything we wanted, clean, spacious and the bed was heaven. Breakfast leaves nothing to want. Huge selection and the kitchen staff kept it clean and full the entire time."
