This house is beautifully appointed, with the charm of a Florida bungalow. Its perfectly situated one block between many hot restaurants and breweries on Florida Ave and one block west is the stately Hillsborough river. The house is also under 5 miles from many attraction....Tampa downtown, Bush Gardens, Tampa Zoo, Raymond James Stadium and Amelie Arena/Convention Center!!!
The house has all the historic charm of the original 1920 Florida bungalow but has all the modern conveniences! Perfect for either families or active singles, seminole heights is an upcoming neighborhood that even has its own seal-inspired by the legendary two headed alligator of Tampa Bay. As Hosts we take pride in providing the best stay for our guests and want you to have a great experience in our amazing town!

We had a wonderful stay. The accomodations were as described, and the small hitches didn't really complicate anything too much. I couldn't get the Keurig in the kitchen to work, and the light in the master bathroom flickered like a strobe light when it was first turned on, for several minutes, but the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves.

Cute home close to downtown Tampa

We stayed the evening to attend a concert at the Raymond James Stadium. The location was great and the house was cozy and super clean. We would happily stay again!

graduation getaway

Our host John was easy to communicate with and his home had everything we could have needed. The beds were comfortable and there was ample space for the 6 of us to be comfortable. I highly recommend it especially for the price, Job well done John

Went for a 2 day golf trip. The house was in a great location to get to several great courses as well as good food and night life. Would definitely stay again!

Great weekend trip!

Came to visit for a quick little weekend trip with some friends. The house did not disappoint. Great area with essentially access to all the major parts in Tampa, usually within a 10-15 minute distance.

Gone country

We came to tampa for a family concert trip. We saw alan jackson at amalie arena. The home was centrally located and well stocked in all things house. Our host was responsive, respectful, and very relaxed. The home was clean the decor was cute the linens and towels were clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Final Four

This was a nice property that made our stay for the final four very convenient having an entire house is great vs a hotel room. Being able to cook at least for breakfast is a great money saver. Would definitely stay here again if in the area

Great little house

Very clean and comfy beds. Kitchen is not fully stocked but we were able to make a nice breakfast and lunch and there is a great dishwasher. Fence is almost completly down in backyard so pets will still have to be on leashes. Walked to local coffee shop and bakery in the mornings 5 min walk for coffee and breakfast!

Nice House

The house is in a decent neighborhood. Had a little trouble with the code at first but finally figured it out. When we arrived the thermostat was off and the temperature was showing 50 degrees in the house because there had recently been a cold spell to hit the Tampa area. It took most of the night for the house to reach a comfortable temp. We quickly found out the TV's did not work. It took some effort to get in touch with the owner but when we finally made contact he tried everything possible to get the TV's working. He even got a 3 way converstation going with the network provider and after some time it was concluded that the box was faulty and we would not be able to have any TV service. The owner did provide a 50 refund for this inconvenience. One bedroom had only a small sofa type bed and a mattress under the bed you could pull out so I had to sleep on the sofa in the living room. If the temp. had been better and the TVs working in would have been a better stay.

Tampa stay

Perfect location for a family wedding in Ybor city . If you are looking for a Florida house with outdoor living this is not a good choice. But it is very conveniently located . Also the listing stated two twin beds in one bedroom but it was a day bed with another bed underneath that did not lift up .

Great house

We had a family emergency and had to check in a little early, which John accommodated as much as possible. The only reason I took off one star was that I sent several messages on VRBO and called him before I got a response. Having said that, it was the same day and once I called John was very kind and accommodating. House was comfortable and beautiful. The second bedroom was comfortable, I just wish the nightstand was at the head of the bed instead of the foot. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend it.

Great house and location

We had a slight delay in getting front door code but after that the house was great. Nice yard for dogs too. Check Wi-Fi code, it may need updating.
