A private spot

We rented this cabin for our first auburn game. It was a quiet place in the woods with a beautiful back porch where you could see deer come out at night. The owner was very responsive, and check in was easy. We would definitely stay again.

Tallassee Cabin

This cabin was very secluded and the perfect getaway. Joe was an amazing host. We enjoyed the canoes and local hikes.

The entire experience was HORRIBLE!

The description per VRBO was very misleading! The directions per Mapquest were wrong. The drive to the property was very unsafe. The property was so secluded that it was dangerous. There was only 1 way in and 1 way out. The property did not smell clean. There were spider webs over the door & there were safety red flags throughout the entire community. Nevertheless, we refused to stay. We contacted the owner & he showed no remorse to our safety concerns. Therefore, I wasted $300+ dollars. I am so disappointed. I was trying to surprise my husband with a stress free getaway. However, the smell, condition, location, and environment surrounding the property caused my good intentions to be an epic failure.

Secluded, peaceful and inviting

This tiny cabin is more than accommodating for a couple people. There are so many provided items you can basically just show up and enjoy. The internet is very spotty unfortunately, so watching TV is complicated. River and boat launch is less than 5 minutes away but the road up to the house is very windy and roller coaster like.
