"Incredible cabin and overall experience! From the homegrown veggies and freshly-picked flowers waiting for us when we got there, to the serenely peaceful environment and proximity to the talladega national forest…I can’t overstate how wonderful our stay was. Cooking over the campfire every night with the stars above us and barely any light pollution was something I could get used to. Lounging in the hammock under the shade tree during the day with the light breeze was like heaven on earth. Truly...

"My family absolutely loved this property. We enjoyed the fire pit, charcoal grill and the surrounding area. Host was super responsive during booking process and reached out during stay to see if we needed anything. We cant wait to come back. We would give this more than 5 stars"

"The pictures don’t show how beautiful this place really looks. You can just sit outside anywhere and enjoy nature. Everyone had fun in the pool. It’s a great place to plan a getaway.. I recommended to all of my family and friends."

"This stay was perfect, and included full run of the upstairs portion of a house nestled in a nice neighborhood near the heart of Carrollton. The house was clean and provided much more than a couple of hotel rooms ... full kitchen, refrigerator, spacious, washer/dryer, and areas for our family was able to visit comfortably. If we find ourselves in Carrollton again, we'll definitely stay here."

"First trip I planned and hosted, bringing my siblings and kid. This house made it well worth the drive, and the access to all the swimming holes etc around was a plus. I highly suggest getting this place and trying it out. I didn't want to leave, but definitely will be back! "

"The beautiful property is secluded enough for relaxation, yet only 10 minutes from the grocer. The cabin is very well put together using what appears to be reclaimed/refurbished materials from the period. It has all the moderns of today with the feel of 'Grampa's Cabin'.We hope to make this our regular accommodations while visiting nearby family. Thanks for the memories!"

"Quiet place with good fishing and great host."

"We had an Awesome time. Exceptional Host. Very Clean Property, plenty of amenities. Highly recommend this as a getaway or a Vacation Spot if you like privacy and being in the Country. Close to Eating establishments and plenty of shopping 15 minutes away. We will be back."

"Confusing at first because it was a Saturday and communication between manager was limited. Couldn’t figure out locks and coffee maker didn’t work. Was able to get it all rectified and the stay was great. Super quiet. Saw 1 neighbor the whole week we were there. Super quiet and private. "
