"We arrived tired after a long day driving, to a warm and friendly welcome. Offered advice that helped us decide on our plans for that afternoon/evening and the next day. Room had the most amazing view. Breakfast was so good! Would recommend this place for sure"

"Fantastic hotel. We stayed for two nights bed and breakfast. We were attending a wedding locally. The host was fabulous. Very personable and friendly. She made us feel so welcome. Helped us with anything we needed. Even helped when we couldn’t get a taxi and drove us personally to our venue. Amazing service. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Breakfast lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel x "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Dolfor Inn. The room was just beautiful, packed with original features and the bed was super comfortable. We had an evening meal and breakfast the following morning which were both absolutely delicious. Our hosts were fantastic company and obviously love what they do with the attention to detail and service. We had a lovely drink with them Friday night, lots of laughs and great company. We will definitely be back A++++"

"What an elegant, well presented and comfortable house in which to stay! Everything was provided, from ecofriendly shampoo and bodywash to pristine robes and towels, a lovely coffee machine, fresh mik with the tea facilities and an excellent guide to the house, its facilities and local walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay"

"Amazing hotel. Room very comfortable. Staff friendly & helpful. Had inadvertently chosen to arrive on the afternoon of the Cross Wales Race, so it was heaving when I arrive."

"Check-in fine; room was comfortable, if a little bit too warm. Excellent breakfast. No evening meal but the Red Lion just a hundred metres or so way did a very good meal."

"We arrived after an 80 mile bike ride and were eager to get a shower and a good meal. The team were expecting us and had the key ready; check-in was very welcoming and efficient. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Despite the restaurant being very busy (Saturday 8pm) our meals came without delay and were hot, hearty and very tasty. Wouldnt think twice about staying again next time we're in the area."

"Borthwen b&b is a fantastic place to stay. Colin and Lisa were such kind and caring hosts and nothing was too much trouble. It was my partners birthday and they even put a birthday candle on his breakfast, he was thrilled to bits! The b&b was spotless, quiet and very comfortable, and the view from there is spectacular. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was probably the best I've ever had and they were able to provide me a vegetarian option which was much appreciated....
