"As much as I'd like to recommend staying here on your trip to bunny island, I cannot. The host did provide details for self check-in, but the property is in various states of disrepair. The AC is left off during the summer, so when we entered, it was hot and humid. The bathroom was left off as well and had accumulated mold. It smelled atrocious to the point we were pretty sure it would be a hazard to use it. I don't expect to incur any penalties, but the host also had many fee addendums...

"This villa was hands down the best accommodation of our entire Japan trip. If you are traveling the Shimanami Kaido, do yourself a favor and book this absolute perfection of a stay.

"5 stars is nowhere NEAR enough for this one of a kind stay. Dani is extremely accommodating and very communicative. She will arrange for taxi pick up if you get here by bus, or boat. The home itself has so much history and these wonderful little notes about the renovation process. Dani also was very good at explaining how everything in the house worked from appliances to water heating. We played Famicom for hours it was just too fun. If you are a foreigner who is intimidated by venturing away...

"玄関から屋上の足湯まで全てキレイに掃除が行き届いており、期待通りの施設で大変満足しているのですが、ご指摘するとしたら掃除中の雑巾（汚れや髪の毛が絡まった状態）が2階寝室の窓枠のところに置き忘れてありました。
あとはゴミの分別について、案内があると分かりやすいかなと思います。
立地も良く周りのコインパーキングはどこも満車の地域なので、宿泊して観光するには絶好の施設です。
また知り合いにもオススメしておきます。"
