"This hotel was a 5 star boutique hotel, with the best staff, the most amazing food, and a great new and wonderful designed layout. I can recommend any one to go and stay. It’s also in a stunning location right on the Harbour. I will certainly go back again."

"We enjoyed our stay in Tain and were delighted with the large room, four poster bed and antique furniture. The bathroom had perhaps seen better days but was perfectly adequate. Staff were polite , friendly and very helpful and breakfast and dinner portions very generous."

"Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage in Shepherd s Hut. Lisa ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin . Die Hütte liegt wunderschön . Wir hatten alles um uns wohlzufühlen . Die Lage ist perfekt für herrliche Ausflüge in die Highlands. Klein aber super fein. Absoluter Geheimtipp"

"The place was dirty, sheets had hair and stains. I asked for them to clean it and the sent someone who remade the bed with the same filthy bedding, blood and yellow stains in finally had to request extra sheets and just sleep on top of the bed."
