"A great affordable holiday for our family of 6. Evan is a friendly host. We particularly enjoyed the walk through the bush around the little lake. Inside the house, the fire is warm, the shower is a good pressure and we had all we needed. It does get cold overnight though so keep the fire going. ..."

"Loved the stylings - catholic collection of cutlery, bedding, and stuff in the bach. Nice and old school (pun intended!). Had everything you could need. The fire was great, homely, warming. We loved getting away from it all in Awakino. Just enough to do and not to do. The view / location was ataahua. ..."
