"The room was super clean,convenient. Had everything needed super close to the lake. Seeing in person was even than online. The staff was super friendly and helpful grocery store literally four minute walk away lovely places to eat. Must try the Italian across the street hot tub fire pit private beach. "We continue to come back to the Timber Lodge because the facility and location are outstanding as well as all the staff that works here. Not much to complain about because it is clean, comfortable and well equipped both inside and outside the room. Couldn't ask for a more enjoyable experience in South Shore. "Loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the reception staff were very friendly. They were great with communication and instructions. We got to our cottage after hours and it was a smooth check-in with the instructions emailed to us. The cottage is very comfy and spacious.It was about a 10 min drive to everything like downtown Truckee and it said 15/20 min to Palisades Tahoe but felt like less. "
