The Cimon Residence offers its guests the possibility of a fantastic stay in Syracuse.

Residence Cimone is located on the second floor of a villa in the historic center of the city, but by the sea: from its terraces you can admire a breathtaking view, ranging from sea caves to the largest port and the island of Ortigia.

Is just 15 minutes' walk from Ortigia, Siracusa center.

Direct access to the sea via a convenient public staircase, you can reach on foot, or by electric bus, all the cultural points of interest.

For nature lovers, 500 meters from the Residence Cimone starts a bike path that runs along the route of the old railway; a path surrounded by Mediterranean flora, along the sea, leading up to the tuna fishery Santa Panagia.

The apartment was completely renovated in 2014, and consists of a bright and beautiful bedroom with window overlooking the sea, furnished with a double bed and equipped with air conditioning, heater and digital TV, private bathroom with large shower; There is also a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge and freezer, which leads to the spacious terraces with sun loungers. This is a charming apartment with the most phenomenal terrace. The property is steps from the Ionian Sea. After a swim, we relaxed on the private terrace - it was heaven. We sat and enjoyed the view, morning, noon and night. We were treated to a full moon on a clear night which was a very memorable experience. Our host, Francesco, was very responsive to any questions we had. Staying in this home is a personal experience as you are interacting with the family that owns the home, not a corporation. It was a lovely experience. If you looking for a property where you can be mesmerized by the sea each day and spend peaceful hours watching boats, ships, see and hear waves crashing over rocks, this is the property for you. There is no better view to be had. Thanks to Francesco and his father for making our stay so enjoyable.

Merci a Francesco pour son accueil et ses bonnes adresses. Nous avons pu profiter de l une des deux terrasses , vue mer exceptionnelle, avec du mobilier pour se reposer ou déjeuner ou prendre un apertif ou café. Vue sur des palmiers et jardins , on entend les vagues et les oiseaux ! Facile de garer la voiture et c est gratuit. A 15/20 minutes à pieds du centre historique., pour nous c etait parfait !

We spent a very nice week in Francesco's apartment. We received a friendly welcome from him. There was always a parking space in the dead-end street. The furnishings and available space were sufficient for us. However, we chose the place for the terraces and the view was truly phenomenal on all sides. It was still very warm in October and the mosquitoes were active in the evening. If you want to sleep with open windows, it is best to bring a mosquito net, but there is also air conditioning. To visit the archaeological park and Ortigia we rented an electric bicycle from Greenbike. They brought the bicycle to our apartment and thanks to the bicycle we avoided traffic jams and parking problems in the center. Highly recommended.

I could not believe just how lucky I was when I walked into the little rooftop apartment. Beautifully bright, lovely size for just me (or a couple). Clean. A lovely size bathroom and bedroom… but the real win here are the two very large patios (we are on the roof of the building). Just a stone throw from the sea the balcony sits above the sound of waves and is greeted by the sunrise directly in front of you each morning. Absolutely stunning! And just a 15minutes walk to the main center. I would stay again! And again!

Für uns war es ein schöner Urlaub. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage und die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einfach traumhaft schön. Es gab immer einen Parkplatz vor der Tür. Das Centrum zur Altstadt war in 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Leider war die Einrichtung etwas abgewohnt und auch einige Möbel defekt. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet.

The only thing good about this rental is the view. It is badly in need of a renovation and cleaning. The shower doesn’t drain and you have to keep turning the water off so it doesn’t overflow. My husband, in his 70s, slipped in the shower because it is so slippery from not draining. Below the sink the cupboard is rotted and stinks because of the drain leakingso badly. We had to wash dishes, pots, cutlery before using anything as things were dirty. I checked the mattress for bed bugs and there were crumbs of food along the piping of the mattress. The furniture is old. There is a small kitchen and a bed. The only other seating is outdoors. We have been traveling in Italy for a few weeks, in 5 different places, this was the worst. We couldn’t wait to get out. The location is quite a way from Ortigia, about a 30 minute walk. I would not recommend this place.

L'appartamento ha 2 stupendi terrazzi in cui trascorrere momenti di relax, uno dei quali affaccia sul mare, la vista è stupenda, esattamente come la si vede in foto. La location è molto vicina ad Ortigia, quindi comoda per andarci a piedi. Francesco è molto disponibile per qualsiasi problema, la struttura è però vecchia e richiederebbe di essere ristrutturata, la doccia scarica male e l'aria condizionata è molto rumorosa.

The view is unmatched. Very easy to get to ruins and Ortigia by foot. Greeted by smiling and welcoming host who immediately offered to help me get luggage upstairs, and again as I was leaving. This was most appreciated as we all know to enjoy a view we ascend. … The view leaves one breathless and thankful for the assistance. I found the view much more incredible and panoramic than the fotos on the listing site. The sunrises are of the most photogenic I’ve experienced. Here you will find natural shade in the afternoons which is quite pleasant even on the hottest season. And there’s the back of the apartment with a huge terrace that stays cool in mornings. Francesco was very prompt and responsive with an issue I had with the shower. After researching and reading the reviews of many places in the area, I was not disappointed and I recommend this place… I’d definitely stay here again if in town.

I loved having the big terrace! Had nice meals and watched the sunrise on the water in front. I went swimming all the time (wear proper swim shoes) in the crystal waters and walked to town everyday (25 minutes). The only criticism is the drainage in the shower that needs improvement. Bit loved every minute of my stay.

We knew exactly what we had booked from the images and the description which were accurate.. The sea facing balcony was everything we had wanted. It was very hot but the air conditioning in the bedroom provided sanctuary.

L'appartement est vraiment superbe, avec 2 terrasdes dint une avec vue sur mer et descente directe pour aller se baigner ! Francesco est un hote tres agreable ! Le quartier est paisible, facile pour se garer et parfait pour rejoindre a pied ortigia!

Overall 10/10, If you want to be on the island where everything is, it is a little walk (20 minutes) If you have a car no issues. The terrace is stunning and the unit is extremely well equipped. The hosts were very nice and easy going. Cannot beat the view.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt direkt am Meer mit einem Zugang zu einer Badestelle über eine kleine Treppe. Die große Terasse bietet einen weiten Blick über das Meer und ist sehr ruhig. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Abbiamo soggiornato in due presso l'appartamento, che abbiamo trovato confortevole e dotato di tutto il necessario, ad Aprile. La vista sul mare e su Ortigia di una delle dua ampissime terrazze è qualcosa di indescrivibile. La zona è molto tranquilla, con possibilità di parcheggiare gratuitamente in strada, e c'è un accesso al mare (con scogli) proprio sotto casa. La sera abbiamo raggiunto Ortigia con una piacevole passeggiata di circa 20 minuti. I proprietari sono stati molto disponibili e ci hanno dato consigli preziosi sui luoghi e locali migliori della zona. Consiglio l'alloggio a chi vuole rilassarsi e godersi lo splendido mare e le bellezze e le bontà che offre questa meravigliosa località. Noi speriamo di poter tornare molto presto!

Merci à Francesco pour son accueil. Appartement très bien situé, environnement très agréable, ortigia est facilement accessible à pied depuis l'appartement.La terrace avec une magnifique vue mer est le bijou de la location. Quelques travaux de rénovation seraient à envisager, principalement la douche à changer. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir rien que pour le plaisir de rester à contempler la mer depuis la grande terrasse. Facilité de se garer auprès de l'appartement. Emplacement idéal pour sillonner les villes baroques du sud est.

Nun waren wir zum 2. Mal in Syrakus und in der Ferienwohnung von Laura und ihrem Bruder. Nach wie vor ist die Lage ein Traum, allerdings benötigt die Wohnung eine Renovierung. Wenn man keine hohen Ansprüche hat, ist die Wohnung bestens ausgestattet.
