Climb into the plush, cloud grey bed for a restful night's sleep at this vibrant, light-filled escape. Follow the pineapples to this duplex with a large open or covered balcony from the living space and master bedroom for sun-dappled brunches and sunset drinks. We welcome Short or Long stays. A spacious Living room with a very comfy large sofa and an eclectic art collection. It's great for a staycation, as a work-from-home alternative, or for families.stays. Fast Wi-Fi, fox tel and Netflix.
8 minutes walk to either Newport Beach or Bungan Beach and the village shops.
Large balcony facing north to catch the winter sun, with dining table, day bed and rocking chairs, view of the Bilgola and Newport Beach.
Quiet neighborhood street.

Additional rules
The Guest Agrees:
1. There is a “No Party, Function or Event” Policy at Casa de Piña. The security bond will be claimed in full if evident and your stay terminated effective immediate
2. To maintain and leave the premises in a clean and tidy condition. In the case of default, an additional cleaning fee ($80p/h) will be charged and will be deducted from the Security Bond.
3. The primary guest booking the stay will be the primary contact and take full responsibility to ensure that all occupants understand and agree to the House Rules. Your contact number to be provided and be contactable when occupying the residence 24/7.
4. To report damages to any articles of furniture, effects or fittings that may become damaged or lost during the period of this tenancy. The cost of repair or replacement will be at the guest's expense.
5. A maximum of 5 adults can be accommodated.
6. Casa de Piña premises or any part there of shall not be used for any purpose other than residential Holiday Accommodation - unless prior arrangement.
7. Not to assign or sublet the whole or any part of Casa de Piña.
8. Not to remove or move any of the set furniture around the house or outside from the premises.
9. No smoking inside the premises. (and if you do smoke - please go well away from the house)
10. No responsibility is taken for loss or damage to tenant’s personal property or personal injury during the stay.
11. Please respect our neighbours.
13. Keys are not to be duplicated; if lost, a key replacement charge of $100 applies.
15. Please close all windows and doors when leaving the premises unattended or if there is the possibility of rain or high winds.
16. Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10:00am to allow time to prepare property for next guests. (please check with us if a late check out possible)
17. Linen & bath towels supplied to remain at the house. Please let us know if you would like beach towels provided.
18. No parking on property - Strictly no parking in the driveway unless unloading and loading your car. Our street has unlimited free street parking.
19. Must climb stairs - Second floor apartment
20. Please remember that our property is located in a tropical country and therefore some small insects such as mosquitoes and cockroaches are present in the area. We love the warmth of summer and so do these bugs. Be careful with leaving food behind and/or with leaving windows and doors open at night as these critters will find their way in. We do our utmost best to prevent this, but please do not be alarmed if one is sighted and simply inform us and we will make sure we do our best to help you.

21. PETS; terms and conditions:

To maintain harmony, we ask our guests who bring their dogs to follow our terms and conditions so that everyone can have an amazing stay.

•All dog stays must be approved and have good references of previous stays. We only accept reservations with pets if the guest has prior positive reviews from other Hosts specifically
mentioning that they traveled with a pet and had no issues.
•We do accept a maximum of 2 x dogs, however, this must be confirmed. There is an additional charge for the extra pooch as follows: $60 per night
•We accept pooches of all shapes and sizes, Casa de Piña welcomes all!
•Your pooch must be house-trained and well-behaved. Should your pooch cause a disturbance to other guests or neighbors you will be issued a warning. Continual disturbance will result in the cancellation of your accommodation reservation, without a refund.​
•Pooches are not allowed to roam on the property unleased or in our private premises.
•It is only okay to leave a pet unattended in your space for short amount of time if they do not bark while you are absent and never be left alone for long periods.​
•Dog stays must ensure that they are taking their pooch for regular bathroom breaks outside the property. Kindly properly dispose of pet waste in a disposable plastic bag in the outside trash bins.
•If your doggy requires walkies or dog-babysitting, we recommend using Madpaws (AUS) pet sitting services or reach out to us for alternatives.​
•Additional poo-bags are always available from us to ensure that we are keeping our local area free of pup debris.​​
•Requests for long stays with pooches are assessed on a case-by-case basis and are to be directed to us the hosts at Casa de Piña.
•For accepted pet stays, guests must bring and use furniture covers or pet protectors to help maintain the condition of your space. If you require any additional towels or covers please ask in advanced.
•Any damage to the apartment and/or soiling will incur additional cleaning/replacement fees.
These rules help set clearer
expectations upfront and ensure a better fit for responsible pet owners.

Casa de Pina was a perfect place for our two week Newport stay - comfortable, cosy, colourful - a special spot facing north, looking out through the tree canopy to the beach in the distance. An easy check-in, full kitchen facilities, a comfy day bed on the deck and a charming host were some of our highlights.

Home away from home

Thank you so much, Di and David! We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect — close to family and everything we needed, yet still peaceful and homely.A special highlight was our final evening, enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony while watching an incredible thunder and lightning show — such a memorable way to end the trip!Di was friendly and responsive, and check-in was smooth and stress-free. Di’s apartment is stylish and comfortable and really well equipped. The location is convenient for the beach, shops and sailing club. It felt more like staying at an old friend’s place than being in a rental. I’m planning to stay again next year.

Marvellous Christmas Get Away

Excellent space, fantastic long balcony for dining with far reaching views across the street and valley, very green, lovely very well presented residential street, very well equipped, very good powerful shower, parking on road right outside no problem, easy walk down to the beach and shops, nice sea pool, great peaceful location, owner Di lives below and is super friendly and helpful, master bedroom has a super king bed and spare room made up into a king. Lots of household stuff already there like toilet rolls, washing machine tabs, dishwasher tabs, cooking oil etc etc so didn't need to buy a load of supplies that you don't want to cart around with you when you go. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing getaway

The property was more spacious than the photos portray. Large balcony and living/dining rooms. Comfortable furniture and well stocked kitchen and laundry. Good array of books to read. Close to the beach and local shops. Peaceful street. We would be happy to return.

Wonderful few days !!

Our stay at Casa Di Pina was great !! The accomodation , the location, the extras provided by Di were much appreciated. Bread and milk and butter and jam .. not to mention coffee etc .. even glad wrap and glad seal bags all combined to make you feel as if at home . The verandah was amazing !! Sunlit mornings .. twinkling stars at night and a moonrise !! What more could one ask for ?? The advertised hot tub .. maybe from an earlier time was the one, minor inaccuracy … Newport beach and ocean pool are within a leisurely walk. Locals were friendly and pointed us in the direction of cafes and places to stick up on groceries. Thankyou Di & David for providing a home away from home for a few days …

Beautiful property in excellent location

Perfect location close to Newport beach in bright, comfortable property with loads of throughtful features, everything you need (down to the beach towels and emergency wine) and some great touches to make you feel on holiday right away. A wonderful and comfortable place to stay!!

My daughter, her 9 month old son and myself were looking for a place that would make our holiday experience as stress free as possible, Casa de Pina exceeded our expectations! The lovely views from the balcony, close proximity to beach, shops and local cafes. Lots of space in this two bedroom apartment and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials to make your stay a pleasant one! Di and David even supplied us with a welcoming gift of bread and milk and a surprise bar of chocolate on the side. In addition to this, Di provided us with a portable cot with linen and a highchair for our stay.If you are visiting the northern beaches of Sydney, I highly recommend that you stay here 😀

Perfect winter getaway

This is a fantastic apartment. Perfect for a winter getaway. Large balcony with fantastic views and in full winter sun. The apartment was very warm and full of sun. Really quiet peaceful area and only a short walk to Newport village. We enjoyed a short stay over a long weekend but the apartment was so well equipped it would be perfect for a longer stay too - with full laundry facilities. And Di and David very considerate and accommodating hosts. Thanks!

A wonderful place to stay and so close to everything!

The property was perfect for our family weekend away. Di supplied a loaf of sourdough bread and some milk to save us the trouble - which was a lovely touch. The property was situated in close proximity to Newport Village, the beach and Newport Wharf, we were also blessed with perfect weather. We had a fabulous weekend!

Post Christmas get away

Hi Di and David, just letting you know we had a great stay and the hospitality and accommodation lived up to expectation. The apartment was ideal for a family get away and little things like a stocked pantry with cleaning, dish washing detergents, milk and bread on arrival were greatly appreciated. The property was clean and tidy and location great with short walk or car ride to beaches, restaurants and shops. We stay in alot of short term rentals visiting family over the years in Sydney. My family reported this was the best equipped kitchen ever.. even had sharp knives (rarity). Lovely aspect, helpful host and spacious.
