Introducing Kalura, a home nestled in the beautiful town of Katoomba, NSW. This beautifully furnished house offers a tranquil retreat for up to 8 guests, making it perfect for family vacations or a friends' getaway.

Kalura house features three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms providing ample space for all guests.

The heart of this holiday home is the combined kitchen - dining - lounge area, where mouth-watering meals can be prepared with provided cooking basics and modern appliances like cook top and oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Adjacent is the spacious living area, enhanced with a fireplace and a 40" TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration or to rejuvenate the muscles why not hop in the spa bath!

The rear family room opens to a lush courtyard with BBQ facilities and outdoor furniture where you can enjoy the fresh mountains air over with your favourite cold drink and enjoy the tranquility and relaxation. The garage has been transformed into a games room, great for keeping the kids amused during wet weather.

Stay connected with the outside world with our complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.

Our property is conveniently located in a region that offers a good mobile phone coverage, ample street parking, and two dedicated on-site parking spaces. Despite the tranquil setting, Kalura sits in proximity to the bustling heart of Katoomba, unlocking access to local attractions and experiences at your leisure.

The front house has both a combustible fire gas fireplace in the living rooms and ducted reverse cycle heating. A split system air conditioning in the cottage and a gas heater.

The bed and bathroom configuration for the Studio / cottage is:

Lounge - 1 x Queen bed

Please note the tariff is based on 6 guests. If you have more than 6 staying, please enter the correct number to get the correct tariff. Maximum 12 guests.

All long weekends are a minimum 3-night stay, all public holidays are charged at the weekend tariff and Easter is a minimum 4-night stay.

All beds will be made with quality linen before your arrival including doonas, pillows, bath towels, bath mats & hand towels. Tea towels are also provided for the kitchen.

Long-mid term term stays are also permissible.

Kalura House.

Very comfortable stay for three generations. Plenty of space to spread out. Lovely back courtyard to relax at the end of the day. The air conditioning in both the main house and the cottage was very effective. The managing agents (Blue Mountains Escapes) were extremely professional.

Large, comfortable property. Everything you need and we'll located. Owner thoughtfully warmed the house for us. We arrived late due to rain and detours for floods.

Great house with convenience of two living areas plus studio

Easy stay and good space having two large living spaces, games room and separate studio. Worked well for us with 3 couples and young kids staying together. Very effective heating throughout all areas ensured the freezing weather on the weekend didn’t impact our down time at home. Thanks

An excellent and very well maintained holiday home with lots of extras.

From talking to neighbours the place was only just recently listed which was evident in the many new appliances and equipment that was still in packaging, including the BBQ. The place was a great find and well stocked. Great location between Katoomba and Leura, and full of nice extras for the whole family to enjoy, including the outdoor seating, BBQ, games room and lounge areas to cater for everyone. Having a fire place with the option of A/C is always a bonus. Given all the nice amenities, it would have been good to have some coasters so as not to damage the furniture. Secondly, the place has two bathrooms but the shower over the bath should not be used for showers...unless you want to spend some time mopping up. We managed with the other shower between the six of us. Great stay....the great weather over Easter was also a bonus!
