Sweet Corn Homestead

After a day of fly fishing, hunting, or exploring the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, unwind at our cozy Sweet Corn Homestead. Centrally situated for easy access to all types of recreation, it's the perfect spot for outdoors enthusiasts. Seeking snowy adventures? Our Powderhorn slopes await on the Grand Mesa. For challenging summer hikes with spectacular views, explore the trails of the Black Canyon. Experience the vibrant fall colors on a lift ride in Telluride. Whether it's soaking in the hot springs of Ouray or shopping in downtown Delta, our homestead is the ideal base for all your recreation desires!Centrally located and hidden within the sweet corn farms Olathe is famously known for, you are greeted by the quiet and farm-like location of this home. Upon entry, you are welcomed by a homey-feeling living room with a wood burning stove, smart tv, comfy recliners, and fun hunting and hobby decor. As you venture further in, there is a large, spacious kitchen with every amenity you will need including a full refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and many other appliances. To the left you will find the master bedroom with a queen bed and an attached private bathroom. The laundry room has a full-size washer and dryer. Home also has a two-car garage for guest vehicles. To the right of the kitchen, you will find the main bathroom, a second room with a comfy queen bed, and a third room with two twin beds. Sit on the front covered porch and watch the sunset or enjoy the covered patio in back. The back patio includes patio furniture and a gas BBQ grill. There is also a spacious back yard for your furry friend, and a private hot tub to enjoy the stars at night. Plenty of toys and games for the kids to play while relaxing and taking in the beautiful sunrise or sunset.

Check-in details will be provided via email and text message. Seven days prior to your check-in date, you will receive an email with the necessary information. Additionally, two hours before your check-in, a text message will be sent, containing the property address and the smart lock door code.

Great house

We enjoyed staying at Sky Run: the house is very clean with comfy beds and living room, lots of space, quirky decor. The quiet country setting is ideal. The owners were very responsive and generous when our plans changed. A few things would have been welcome (bedside lamps, suitcase stands, laundry detergent) but overall it’s a great place!

Effortless

This was my best experience so far using a vacation rental. Skyrun has clear instructions for everything and the whole process was easier than a Hotel. All the supplies you would expect at a Hotel were available at Homestead. Homestead is also very centrally located and easy access to the Hwy for all the activities offered in the area.

Colorado trip

The house is very cozy. There's a nice open floor plan to socialize, as well as both a front porch and a back patio with plenty of chairs. The house was well stocked with almost all basic necessities. If we had come in the winter months it would have been nice to use the hot tub and fire stove, but it was fairly hot so we didn't use those.

Perfect stay for extended family

This was a wonderful location and perfect set up for our family. We had 2 kids and they loved the indoor and outdoor toys and activities. The back porch was a frequented location! Great location for our visits to Grand Junction and Ouray. Quick trip to the airport in Montrose. Clean and comfortable house. The only recommendation I have would be for more fans in the house as it got a little warm with no central a/c.

Wonderful house

The house was in a great location and easy to find. Yard was beautiful and it was pet friendly. The down side to that is that the yard is not fenced (which is posted on their description) but we had a couple other dogs hanging around. We were cautious when we put our dog out and I ended up cleaning up after other dogs as well as mine. The hot tub was great. The house was great for my mother in law who is in a wheel chair, plenty of room to get around. The only other small inconvenience was all the cupboards in the kitchen are full and there was no place to put our food except on the counters. We didn't complete our work over there and are heading back and staying here again. I would definitely recommend this house for a nice stay!

Wonderful getaway

Place was amazing! House was very nice. Very big backyard and nice hot tub! The stay was worth every penny, just wish we could have stayed longer! Also the coffee at Java Hut in Delta was 10/10

Well stocked and Comfortable Stay

Very clean and spacious; extremely well stocked kitchen to include every appliance and spice one would ever need ; utilized the great BBQ grill on back porch ; plenty of towels and solid washer / dryer to use. My in laws and me and my wife and daughter will stay again next year for her annual golf tourn.
