"The hotel staff were very good, the room clean & beds good. We had a good night with undisturbed sleep & a hearty breakfast. The hotel building is in need of some TLC though, threadbare/frayed stair carpets, the chair in our room needed reupholstering, paint work, woodwork & door frames particularly at suitcase height were bashed & chipped. The overall impression is good though - clean & pleasant smelling, but on closer inspection it is tired & needs refreshing."

"Lovely old building sympathetically restored. Location is perfect for Swansea Arena shows. Charming welcome by Amy who looked after us so well. We stayed in a suite (thank you). "From the time we stepped into the hotel the receptionist was so helpful and accommodating to the fact we were 3 hrs early . The bar is very relaxing and spacious the staff couldn’t do enough for you . We had an evening meal which was spectacular. And breakfast what a menu beautiful. "Easy to follow directions regarding checkin-check out. My room (2b) was large, with a big bed, and couch at the foot of the bed facing a TV and the floor to ceiling window. There was also a small dining table with two chairs. The bathroom was spacious with separate shower and bath. Everything worked and was clean. I think good value. The location was perfect, with walkable restaurants and bars close by. "
