  • Nestleton, galardonada con el premio "Hidden Gem of Dorset 2016" de la revista Aspire, es una hermosa casita de 3 habitaciones dobles (más cuna de viaje) que ocupa los dos pisos superiores de una casa victoriana, con vistas al mar, balcón, chimenea y patio con jardín. El sol fluye hacia el balcón y el frente de la casa en la mañana, perfecto para un desayuno al aire libre, y arroyos en la parte posterior de la propiedad por la noche. El dúplex tiene su propia entrada y se accede por una escalera lateral. Gran cuidado y atención se ha dado a amueblar el dúplex en un bello estilo romántico francés y está a sólo 5 minutos a pie a la ciudad Swanage, con sus numerosos cafés y restaurantes, el muelle victoriano restaurado, de ferrocarril de vapor y playa de arena - ideal para los niños. También es un gran lugar para los amantes de deportes acuáticos, y tiene una escuela de buceo en el muelle. Durlston parque del país y el castillo está a sólo 15 minutos a pie y la ubicación de la propiedad será por lo tanto también se adapte a los caminantes que deseen explorar la costa jurásica y esta zona de gran belleza natural. Castillo de Corfe, Studland, Poole Harbour, Isla de Brownsea y azul piscina por nombrar sólo unos pocos, son todos muy cerca de Swanage. ¡Los niños y las mascotas son bienvenidos!

Fantastic location and really comfortable beds, plenty of seating and the balcony was a lovely bonus in the nice weather. Master bedroom really spacious and other two rooms comfortable beds and nice and clean. Really lovely apartment, kitchen very well equipped and a great size.

Lovely period property that was well equipped and in a great location for walking to the seafront. You can also access the downs and the country park by walking up the hill. We always managed to park on the road, usually at the top of the hill. Would stay here again and recommend.

Wonderful accommodation in a fantastic location

We stayed here as a group of children and adults and we all thoroughly enjoyed the time and wished we could stay longer. The maisonette is spacious and beautifully decorated. It is a very short walk to shops and the beach. A perfect base for our family holiday.

This property has a lovely style and is well equipped. Sitting on the balcony with the beautiful sea views was a highlight. The location was a absolutely ideal, being only a 5minute walk into town and to the beach. We had a fantastic stay in this lovely property. Would definitely book again.

Lovely place for Christmas

We had a lovely Christmas here, the apartment is really comfortable and well equipped and had been beautifully decorated for Christmas. It’s really well placed for all the sights of Swanage and the local area.

Winter stay in Swansea

The location was excellent. The property itself was beautifully decorated but with a several maintenance issues that arose it seemed it was more geared for summer rentals. Saying that we had a lovely stay with ample walks nearby and great pubs and restaurants.

Half term get away

We wanted a place to stay within walking distance of the beach & town, Nestleton was perfect. Amazing place, beautifully decorated and so close to everything, we never even needed the car! Excellent smart tv & Wi-Fi and heating and hot water was always available. We would definitely book again. Thank you Moira

Beautiful, spacious accommodation in lovely Swanage

Well equipped, spacious property. Within walking distance of all that Swanage has to offer. We loved the decor and the balcony- (which we managed enjoy in the sunshine even in October!) A definite home from home experience

shabby chic !

We all enjoyed staying here...loved all the French shabby chic interiors....people with limited mobility may have difficulty with steps and stairs in the property....and there is a steep hill to climb,but that was ok with us.It was very well equipped and the sea views were lovely.The town of Swanage and its surroundings is very interesting..

Great place to stay in Swanage

Despite Storm Dennis trying to put a dampener on our long weekend, we had a great trip. And this property was a huge reason why. It is extremely well decorated and looked after. After braving the elements outside for a while, it was so nice to come back to this cosy place. We traveled with our 3 daughters (11,9,8) and small dog. The kids loved the games in the house and the dog felt right at home. Moira was super nice and helpful on our email exchanges. The house is close to a number of pubs and restaurants but also has a great kitchen if staying in. All around great experience.

Close to town yet quiet

A nice maisonette with a small balcony off the lounge diner with sea view to the left. We had excellent communication with the owner. As we were only there for 4 nights we ate out so didn’t use the cooker just the microwave. Good size fridge freezer and plenty of crockery and cutlery. A few minutes walk into town and the quay area. We always managed to get parked on the street not far away but think it would be more difficult in school holidays. The house was comfortable with good white bedding. The garden are was very overgrown by the path which was a nuisance when the plants were wet.

Visit to Swanage blues festival

Surprise we managed to rent this property as at the last minute our accommodation that was booked was cancelled at the last minute. Found it very convenient for the town. It was very comfortable and well equipped. Would book again

Lovely House, great Location

A really nicely presented house, we loved the balcony and sitting out in the morning. Just a 200m to the town which had everything we needed and lots of things locally to entertain. Loads of extras like games, video games and TV channels. I'd highly recommend.

5 days in Swanage

Served its purpose well. Easy to walk to town or harbour. Parking close by difficult at times with quite long uphill walks to car.

Smashing Place to Stay!

Communication from the owner before you arrive is great, you know exactly what to expect & where to locate all the important things cutting down potential stress. The location is good, really close to the town & all it's amenities, a short walk to most places but far enough away from any hussle & bussle. The only down side is the lack of parking but the owner gives handy tips on where to park before you arrive. Inside the property is beautiful with high spec throughout, obviously well loved & maintained by it's custodians it is a lovely place to stay. We were sad to leave.

Delightful house

Great house, excellent facilities. Very handy for restaurants, town centre and beach. Definitely fitter after 4 days of walking. Parking not a problem during our stay.

Fabulous property, with fabulous views and a very friendly owner.

Searching through Vrbo for a last minute family holiday in Dorset we chanced upon this property and knew instantly this is where we wanted to stay. Moira was exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout the booking process and once arrived we knew we had made a great choice. With a "shabby chic " look the property is full of character and is extremely welcoming. Each room was a delight but the balcony topped it off. We were lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy breakfast outside with great views to the sea, along with watching some very bad drivers try to reverse park on a steep hill! (The parking proved to be no trouble - we were lucky to have a place outside for the whole duration of our stay). Staying in April, it did go cold at night, but the heating is quick and efficient and soon warmed up - we had no need to use the fire but I would imagine that would be so cosy in the winter. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen, except for a lack of tea spoons, but that is hardly a problem! The beds were all very comfortable. We thought the bed in the Master was a memory foam bed, until we realized at the end when stripping the beds that it was actually just a lump of foam - it was so comfy I might just do that at home when mine needs replacing! Now back home, we are already planning on booking a return. Sooner the better I hope.
