8/10
The only complaint I have is that there was no communication before check-in, and I had to call the owner/host to confirm my room number and key details at the door. That said, the property itself was quite nice. The room is small (doesn’t really look like the picture, to be honest), but it was fine for me as a solo traveler.
A plus point is that there’s a sink in the room, so I could brush my teeth and wash my face without needing to go to the shared bathroom.
Please note that the walls are thin, and noise from other guests might wake you up. (The couple sharing the property with me were very nice, so it wasn’t an issue for me.)
There’s a shared kitchen where you can store and cook your own food. The surrounding area is also quite pleasant—there’s a glass gallery next door, and you can buy groceries at Extra, which is about a 7-minute walk away. There’s also a Thai food truck next to Extra that serves really good green curry (check Google for details).
