"This house is nice and has a great location but we had a terrible experience the dirty linen was piled up in front of the entrance ,the house was dirty we had to do laundry and cleaned the floor and carpet that had dead roaches after driving for long time.Poor communication with the owner. "It's like sitting in the wilderness but right there in your face. All the wildlife around you that doesn't care you are there. Had a very close visit by an osprey, bald eagle and lots of turkey vultures. Daisy duck will certainly keep you entertained. The place is tiny and hard to maneuver for an ADA with a rolling walker, but my wife got used to it. The write up said, kitchen, then later said kitchenette. There was no stove! "Host was extremely quick and helpful. Home was adorable and comfortable. Hopefully, the house will always be available on our future visits. We loved watching dolphins all day on the deck. "

"This is a very bright and fun property. The bed is super comfy. The bed is up a circular staircase and could be challenging for some. We appreciated that pets were welcome. So many sweet stores/restaurants at Cedar Key. "

"this is a very charming “old Florida” hotel that is 160 years old. It has withstood many hurricanes and weather issues over the years but remains a “grand old lady” in the heart of Cedar Key. The restaurant offers excellent dining choices for dinner only. I will definitely be staying there again in the future."

"This is an elevated, older home on the water. Its elevation provides excellent views from the waterfront porch. The house is well maintained and equipped. Since it is elevated, it did not suffer damage from the recent hurricanes, as did neighboring residences. One of the docks was replaced; the fish cleaning station was rebuilt, but it is not screened in. No internet was a bit of a hassle, but strong 5G reception offset it.The only negative was that the listed TV and Spectrum connection did not...

"someone else was in our unit. We had to take a different one. The fridge was not working and the a/c fan was very loud. I don't think they were ready for guests yet. Once a few more repairs are done it will be a great spot. We will go back."
