"This little gem is such a peaceful & friendly neighborhood. The view of the cove is simply stellar! And centrally located to make it to all the spots you want in minutes! "It was no contact check-in.Quiet,nice area. No desk people,but was able to keep contact with on line chat. Rooms each have small refrigerators & microwaves.Each floor has kitchens in meeting area & full size refrigerators. Have coffee & tea available,but wish they would have creamers available.Chat lady suggested going to store,but I like waking up,have 1st cup of coffee in my p.js. It would be nice to have vending machines in lobby to purchase items,so don’t have to run to store."

"Excellent large, attractive spaces— beautifully decorated ! Asked for a 2 bedroom and was given a 3 bedroom, well equipped bathrooms . The balcony had glass windbreaks which made the wind off Lake Michigan more bearable on the windy days. Would stay again, again, & again!"

"Very good communication, easy accessible great downtown area. They should have mentioned in the beginning that parking would be an issue, we did not find that should be the case. I would suggest that the owners put wash clothes in the bathroom to be used there were none in there."

"We were very happy with the rental unit - After Dune Delight . We had 3 1/2 families with two set of children (4). We were pleased that both the upper and lower units had fully equipped kitchens with fully stocked cabinets and all the appliances that we needed. The two levels gave us the opportunity to have some quiet time away from the larger group. "We absolutely loved our stay! The location was ideal, and the home itself—both indoors and out—was beautiful and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing getaway. "This property was perfect. Spacious and clean and quiet. The host company communicated with us as needed and were so helpful in answering any questions. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family of two adults and two kids traveling with grandma. Everyone has their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed. No complaints at all. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"The room was very clean. Most things worked great and the room was well stocked. The light in the bathroom doesn’t work, so they just put up a few of those little stick on lights which was not enough after dark. The bed closest to the window has a big divot from over-use. There was a faint smell of cigarette smoke. "

"This is a unique residence that embodies the history of the Traverse City State Hospital albeit with the modern amenities you would expect. "Very comfortable home to stay in for a four generation girls trip. Very nice deck to hang out on and take in the view. Beds were comfortable but a little high for a bunch of short women. Our 79 yr old 4’9” aunt need a boost to get into the bed. She did really appreciate the walk in shower and not needing to step into a tub. Highly recommend this home!"
