"Very poor quality bed - can feel all springs. Air with no ventilation options except bathroom window which was overlooked by a crowd outside very tiny fan in room which didn’t help. High noise is no joke - like being in The club in your room especially with window open trying to ventilate the smelly sauna. Breakfasts was extra but nice. wouldn’t stay again."

We expected quite simple / basic accommodation and were pleased to find it as anticipated - a small cabin like bedroom simply fitted out but completely adequate and spotlessly clean. "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the ibis Styles Birmingham Centre for one night and, considering we only paid £46.69, we were genuinely impressed. The reception area was clean, spacious and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They showed us where we were on a map and pointed out nearby attractions, including directions to the Utilita Arena where we were attending an event. A nice touch was the complimentary tea and coffee available in reception, along with water and juice in the dining...

"We live this place, have been there lots but Patios and outside areas could have been a bit cleaner. Rooms are not very soundproof. We were on the ground floor this time and had people walking above us all night. On the plus side, Staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is delicious and reasonably priced."

"The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom was poorly planned and difficult to use. There was no shower enclosure or demarkation (even a sill or ledge on the floor to keep the water somewhat contained would have been helpful). The rainhead shower and the shower wand sprayed the entire room. There are no hooks to hang up your towels. The bathroom is small and the lighting is dim. All your luggage must go on the floor as there is no luggage rack or spare chair to set anything on. Overall,...
