"This turned out to be a wonderful experience and stay at this property. The check-in was easy, accommodations were beyond my expectations and the location was beautiful and amazing. It's convenient to the town of Sutter Creek and a 15 min. drive to the small historic town of Volcano. It had all the amenities of a resort stay, yet quiet and secluded for an enjoyable get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. "My husband and I wanted to find a place that we could enjoy our anniversary, bring our doggie and still get some work done remotely. Since we were there from Tuesday through Saturday, my husband had a few meetings he could not miss. The wifi was great for his meetings and the property was great for me and our pup to run around and explore. we requested the pool heated knowing there would be a cost and they were very generous and gave us half of the days for free. We enjoyed our night swims...

"We stayed here for the weekend. The home is beautifully kept with everything you need clearly marked and easy to find. Very clean with all of the amenities you will need. My one and only complaint would be the steep slope of the driveway which made parking challenging. Everything else was perfect."

"Adorable, quiet and comfortable. Small, but cozy. Didn't miss having a TV! Has enough other amenities that you shouldn't want for anything. Plus, there are many convenient stores within minutes. The grounds are lovely and Sunny & Cher, the two cats, will keep you company as you sit outdoors, relaxing. Or feed the chickens, they'll appreciate it. It was a pleasure meeting the owners. Hope to return for another stay."

"The apartment was nice and clean. The living space is quite large. It was great because we were visiting a friend nearby. The neighborhood is lovely, but not close to the wineries if that’s what you’re coming for. "

"We had a really nice stay in Pollock Pines. The house was clean with plenty of beds. The kitchen was very large and completely stocked for all our needs. We even made muffins for breakfast! I contacted the host to clarify check in details and directions before we left, and we had no problems. Kathleen gave us very detailed directions, and she always answered my messages promptly. We had a great time visiting with family!"

"This property was thoughtfully laid out and stocked. We only had to provide our own groceries! The owner really thought of everything. We would definitely stay there again!"

"It is only 1 hour and 15 minutes from Lake Tahoe and has nearby shops such as Safeway and Target. The house is undoubtedly fabulous and comfortable, you feel like in your own home! I will definitely stay there again, an amazing place!!!"

"Really enjoyed the property "

"Perfect location near downtown Placerville and not far from the start of the Apple Hill region. Everything was outstanding! Owners were very nice and Sandra, the Owner’s sister checked on us to ensure our stay was going well. It’s a nice, quiet, quaint cottage and met our needs very well. We enjoyed the private deck next to the fountain and pond with some wine one evening. Highly recommend! "

"We’re from Los Angeles and didn’t know much about Placerville before our visit, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of activities nearby, and we enjoyed every single one. The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. It’s super slow during our stay."
