The Lighthouse w/golf kart available. 300 yards from beach, clean A-rating, attractively decorated with lighthouse theme. Covered porch with rockers. Conveniently located in Myrtle Beach/Surfside area. Inside Ocean Lakes campground. Must be 25 years of age to rent. Our rental days during peak season are from Saturday to Saturday.

Pets welcomed with approval from owner.

Recent upgrades. New vinyl railing on front porch. New kitchen floor.

Very nice cottage and great location. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated we could bring our small dog. Golf cart was a plus along with the recliner. Hope to stay here again.

Great little house! Shaded spot, far back enough that it was quiet. Porch furniture nice and new, awesome recliner with massage and heat (I think my husband was in that recliner 90% of our stay).Why four stars instead of five: Porch/deck boards were broken, holes and bowed when stepped on (I am 160lb).Lots of kitsch lighthouse decore, which would be fine if it was dusted. Ceiling fan, screens and fans all thick with dust. Bring your own pillows. with just a little bit of TLC this would be five stars!

Love ocean lakes had a great time but this house is in much need of TLC the porch is falling in in the front it had a bad smell when we got there. The shed has roaches. There is so much stuff left behind from other guest in the cabinets and the bathroom light flickers constantly. But for the location and for guest having to clean up before the leave we made the best of it. Just seems like it hasnt been attended to in a while

Beware

This could of just been an off week but we will never stay or recommend this place to anyone. Photos are deceiving house was disgusting on arrival. The Kitchen table was a mess and had crumbs and food all over it. bathroom shower had hair and mold all over it. The main couch looked like they shaved bigfoot on it and also had crumbs and stains on it.we did contact owner they responded quickly to this! Maid cleaned everything except the couch which i had to vaccum out.and clean. Once exiting the house the door handle feel off so had to make the door close another way contacted the owner on this and he had his friend come bye and check to see if it needed to be fix right away or could wait i told him it could wait he apologized and said he asked him to fix it before. Had a problem with the big brown coach roaches getting in the house had to seal the door frames with duck tape so they wouldn't get in. Contacted the owner they had it sprayed after we left. To be honest we contemplated leaving the first night cause it was so bad oh and the horrible smell when we walked in was awful but that left after the maid cleaned enter at your own risk you have been warned!
