Mermaid Lagoon! Beautiful waterway views, private pool, great family getaway!

Dog friendly with the convenience of a fenced yard, this newly renovated 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is on a quiet street and only a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and steps to the intracoastal waterway. The inverted floor plan makes the most of the spectacular waterway views AND has a master bedroom with attached bathroom on each floor! We also offer a beautiful in-ground pool (14'x30'). Mermaid Lagoon sleeps 10, including a bunk bed and trundle bed, so you can comfortably accommodate the whole family. A Pack and Play in the downstairs closet. Amenities include: 2 children's scooters a few beach chairs, sand toys, and a beach cart to carry them. Enclosed outdoor shower and propane grill are ready for your use. Have lunch by the pool or relax in the many wonderful spaces on this property. After fishing on the pier and public dock (only steps away) , soak in the view from one of the large porches. Plenty of parking in the driveway and under the house.

Within easy walking distance is the ice cream shop, several restaurants, a fresh seafood market and fishing pier. Walk to the bandstand for weekly entertainment during the summer season.

Mermaid Lagoon never disappoints! This beautiful beach house has absolutely everything you need for the perfect Holden vacation! This is our 3rd time staying at this property and truly is a home away from home! The pool is the perfect touch for hot afternoons!! Location is great too, easy walk to the beach, restaurants, coffee shop and icecream! The whole process from reserving to check in/check out was seamless! We really enjoyed being able to bring our pups this trip too! Thanks for an awesome week!

Awesome Vacation!

The stary at Mermaid Lagoon was awesome. The property was as advertised and better. The house was very family friendly and provided everything we needed for our stay to be unforgettable. I can't forget the property manager, Linda. She was always communicating with us and was extremely helpful. A definite plus for the property. We loved our stay and the family is already talking about returning next year!

Comfortable beds and a lot of little surprises that make it feel like home! Legos in the kids room, board games, books and a ton of pool floats/ beach accessories that were available for us to use was so helpful. The porch view seeing the waterway was perfect! Great property!

Great property! The pool is wonderful after a day on the beach. The home is super clean and relaxing. Host is welcoming and attentive to all creature comforts. Quiet street with a sense of privacy. Mermaid Lagoon is my first choice for Holden Beach Vacation.

Really nice place. The communication once on the Island was exceptional, lots of helpful tips and support without getting into our vacation time. The place is a bit of a walk to the beach but imo the sunset view of the waterway plus the pool more than make up for that. We had 6 people staying there, plenty big enough for that AND we had family members (from another house) visit us on two evenings and there was plenty of social room, especially with the big front porch and also the pool area. We would stay here again!

The only problem we had was the code never worked in the door for access. When we arrived the cleanup crew was still there so we didn’t need the code. The first time we all left and locked up the front door would not open. Thankfully we had left a back door unlocked.

Great week

This was our second time staying at Mermaid Lagoon we had a group of 5-6 adults. We find the house very well set up for our activities, beach, pool and paddle boarding. It is close enough to walk to the beach and close to water access to paddle in the intercostal. Everyone had options and the house was clean and well equipped. Look forward to coming back!

Family Summer Vacation

Perfect beach vacation week at Holden Beach. This house was in a great location to get to the beach and also to fish off the public doc that sits on the ICW. The pool was a great hangout area too. The house was a perfect fit for our family.

Mermaid Lagoon was the perfect house for our vacation! We loved everything about it. The house has everything you need. The pool was amazing! Close to the beach. Get Holden house near the Intercoastal Water Way

We stayed at Mermaid Lagoon with our family of five and my brother-n-law in June of ‘23. This was our 3rd or 4th time at Holden Beach, but our first time staying away from the beach and having a pool. The house was exactly as described and great! We all enjoyed the pool and the walk to the beach was only a few minutes. This house is also close to restaurants/bars and the ice cream shop. Great house and Holden Beach is a great vacation spot!

Peaceful vacation home.

Mermaid Lagoon was perfect for our family vacation. Love the pool and space for game nights and karaoke. Plenty of porches to soak in the views. Easy walk or bike ride to the beach and restaurants.
