Heated pool, private beach access, family friendly

Lil Sunshine is the perfect oasis with a heated backyard pool, quiet surroundings, tropical plantings, and a short walk to the beach, you’ll have the perfect escape. In the shoulder seasons (March, April, September, October) the pool is heated.
The private beach access for Sunshine Lane guests only is just a short walk (1 min) from the house. Lil Sunshine is the perfect place for families, girls trips, and romantic getaways. There’s plenty of room to spread out and relax together in the living room, or taking in the ocean breeze on the back porch while sipping a cold beverage. However you like to relax, Lil Sunshine is here to make it easier for you to forget your troubles and enjoy your vacation!
Beds are made with complimentary linens, towels are included in the bathrooms along with, shampoo/conditioner and soap, and a starter roll of TP. The kitchen is equipped with all the gadgets you’ll need and a starter roll of paper towels, dish detergent, and cleaning supplies.
Just pack your cooler, chairs, and your swimsuit, and you’re all set!
May - November is sea turtle nesting season and it is quite a treat to be there on a full moon to possibly see hatchlings leave their nest for the ocean.
Holden Beach is a family friendly beach and everyone is welcome at Lil Sunshine. There’s an awesome playground at the bridge, including a a basketball/pickleball court. Bring your bike for an easy bike ride to the pier for ice cream and shopping at the t-shirt shop. For dinner you are a short drive to restaurants like our favorites, Provision Company, Mermaid’s Island Grill, and Sorella’s Italian restaurant (yum!).
Lil Sunshine is ready to host you, your family, and friends for a relaxing and memorable stay on Holden Beach!

This property was extremely clean and suited our family perfectly. It is a short walk to the beach and a very quiet neighborhood. The heated outdoor pool was nice and a definite plus. Would definitely rent again. Holden beach in March is so nice. No traffic and no wait times.

We had a lovely, short stay at Lil Sunshine! Check in was easy and home was as described and pictures are accurate. Host was quick to respond to questions before and during our trip. Very close to public access to beach and pool was nice.

Nice house, close to beach

The house was just as described and what we saw in the photos. Parking was easy for 2 cars. The house was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of cups, plates, utensils and cookware in the kitchen. The outdoor pool and sitting area were perfect for our group with 4 kids. We were glad for the pool towels that were available at the house. We loved the short walk to the beach. And the host was friendly and responsive. Thank you for hosting us in your lovely home.

Family vacation

A great week at a great house! Our family really enjoyed the pool! It was so nice. Well stocked kitchen made making supper easy! Quiet area of the beach but just a short drive to get to the busier part of the island. A great week with many memories made!

Family mini vacation

Our family truly enjoyed staying a few days at the house. The pool was a plus and made the trip that much more fun. The beach was just a short walk across the street and was not over crowded. Pretty much everything was provided in the home and the beds were super comfortable. We will return next year and highly recommend renting this house. The host responded to messages quickly and very gracious.

LOVE!

Perfect distance from the beach access & amazing private pool. We had kids as young as 1 year old and this property was perfect / very safe. There’s an alarm on the sliding door to the back porch that can be turned on and off to ensure no children get out alone. We spent so much time out back by the pool. I couldn’t rave about this house any more! It accommodated our family perfectly. The only thing about being this far down ocean Blvd is that there isn’t much that is close by. It’s about a 10-15 min drive to any restaurants or coffee shops. We didn’t mind this too much though. We can’t wait to book again!

Great house, great location, amazing pool!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean and in great condition, exactly as described. The pool was a great bonus and made our vacation overall much more enjoyable. The walk to the beach is just a few minutes and no trouble at all. Communication with the host was efficient and pleasant. We’d happily stay here again!

Lovely Family Vacation

Absolutely fantastic beach house for our family vacation! From the breathtaking ocean views to the spacious and beautifully decorated interiors, every aspect exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped, making meal prep a breeze, and the bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed lazy mornings on the sun-drenched patio and evenings looking at stars on the beach. The proximity to the beach was unbeatable, allowing us to easily come and go throughout the day. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring our stay was flawless. We couldn't have asked for a better home base for our beach getaway. Five stars all around – we'll definitely be back and can’t wait to swim in that pool!

A great beach retreat

We enjoyed our stay very much at this house. It was exactly as pictured online, everything was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and super convenient beach access. Our kids enjoyed the yard and we enjoyed relaxing on the back deck. Communication with the host was always helpful and prompt. We would stay here again for sure.

This property was fantastic. Short walk to beach. The house was clean and spacious! We were 7 women on a week long holiday all the way from NY. One small recommendation… the beds are not of greatest comfort. However we will be back and we will share this location w all our friends and family :)

Every part of the house was clean and crisp! From the dishes to the bedding to the bathroom showers to the floor, even outside. Nicely decorated, and we didn’t find anything we needed that wasn’t there.

You’ll love this place!

This was one of the best vacation homes we have stayed in especially for the price. Very short walk to the beach with a private ramp access, making it easy for adults and kids to get straight to the fun! Check in/out was really easy. It was immaculately clean and we had everything we needed for a week long stay! Thank you for a great experience and hope to rent with you again soon!

Perfect location in Holden Beach!!

A++++ owner!! This was home away from home for our family; the location is perfect just a short walk out to the beach! The house had everything we needed, linens, towels, kitchen supplies, and even the outdoor shower was stocked with full privacy. We highly recommend "Lil' Sunshine" for anyone looking to spend time at Holden Beach! Thanks again for everything Anna! We'll be back next summer for sure!!

Perfect!

This home was perfect for our family. It provided plenty of space to lounge and spread out. Rooms were clean and tidy and we had everything we needed to just relax and enjoy. It was a very short walk to the beach which was a plus for getting out there multiple days. The owner was super responsive and patient with my questions, especially with the front door lock I couldn’t seem to work. Totally user error on my part! The house is very secure. I would definitely stay here again.
