    Beach lovers paradise. Fun family home that is cozy and uniquely decorated. See if you can count the many crabs throughout this very entertaining home. You’ve got to see the “Shark Room!” Newer construction with all new hardwood floors. Digital HDTV in living room with 5 TV’s, DVD players, lots of movies and books. Ping-pong table, Corn-hole toss game, enclosed outside hot/cold shower, foot shower, 2 picnic tables, high chair, Large park grill, large screen porch and private access to beach are just a few of the many extras. The Atlantic Ocean is your backyard!! You're less than 50 feet from the sand! Check out our Krab chairs on the back deck!

    ** 1 GIG Internet speed.

    If it rains.... You can play ping pong, corn hole toss game or relax in the enclosed garage area. We just added a kids bowling set.
    Updated screen porch, new paint and a new full bath in the garage. New sofas in the living room. New Ping Pong Table (Best one on the Beach). Wireless Internet. And of course, a few new Krabs. ***Linen service is included in the rental price. Towels are available to rent.

We loved our stay. The house is beautiful. We really loved the huge screened porch. My grandson loved all the toys and my adult kids loved the ping pong table. The area is beautiful and we would definitely stay here again.

You can't beat the views from the screened in porch and it is so nice to look out and see the ocean while cooking. The kitchen is nicely stocked and the extra large dining table makes it perfect for games. The ping-pong table and hammock are always a big hit! The direct beach access is great! As always, the host is awesome to work with and checks in during your stay to make sure things are going well.

Lovely stay at the king crab!

We loved our annual stay at the King Crab! We look forward to it every year. We love having thr beach right out doors and the screened in porch to relax and watch the sunsets. We’ve been renting this house every year for 5 years we love it so.

King Awesomeness

The house was perfect for our 84 year old dad to move around in and feel apart of the daily activities with the rest of the family. The host was very responsive on questions in the beginning and then checking in with us during our stay.

Family vacay

Our family had a wonderful time at this beach house. The house was perfect (kitchen stocked with everything you’ll need), the beach was perfect (wonderful shelling) and the weather was beautiful. Beds are comfortable, plenty of seating. Screened porch is amazing. Ping pong is a plus!

King Krab a must stay when at Holden Beach

The King Krab is a great house for the family to enjoy Holden Beach. The rooms are clean, the kitchen has all the amenities . The kids love looking at all the crab and ocean life trinkets around the inside of this house. The outdoor deck and access to this quiet beach is the best part of staying at the King Krab. We will rent again.

Another amazing year at the King Crab!

Staying at the King Crab is a family tradition! The beach was lovely and not too crowded. We enjoyed the baby birds nest in the outdoor area. We swam, ate at Mermaids, slided on the slides, played board games and enjoyed the beach. See you next year!

Wonderful family house on the beach

The best beach week we’ve had! The house is fun and beautiful, with its updated and well equipped kitchen to the transformed garage turned game room. Even stocked with inside and outside games.The most amazing was the screened porch all along the back, facing the beach. We hope to return next summer!

Fantastic Family Stay

The King Krab was the perfect house for my family's vacation! My 3-year-old loved all the space and toys the home had to offer, and us adults thoroughly enjoyed the large kitchen and screened-in back deck. The beach being such a short walk down the private boardwalk was an added bonus. The owner was prompt with answers and information any time we needed something, and the house was clean, well maintained, and comfortable! We will definitely be back!

Great house! Location and views are wonderful. Felt very private but also conveniently located on OBW and a quick drive to bridge. House is nicely furnished with comfortable chairs, sofas and beds! Bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms are nice with plenty of space and countertops. Loved the kitchen and its layout. Everything you need and more! Really appreciated the recycling and laundry/utility room. The outdoor spaces at the house are really nice. We enjoyed the large screened porch as well as the sunny patio and view of the ocean. The covered game room on the lower level was lots of fun too! Thanks for a memorable week! Highly recommend!

Relaxing week

KingCrab never disappoints! We had a great time and the screened porch is wonderful. We cooked several meals in and had what we needed. The ping pong table was used daily. The owner is always very communicative and is available if needed. We are looking forward to going back!

Great vacation house and great host

The house is exactly what you see in the pictures, if not better. The interior is well kept, the kitchen well stocked, and the layout is convenient for multiple groups. If anything, it exceeded expectations. We ended up going during tropical storm Debby. The owner communicated very well and was very responsive as a few expected issues came about due to the storm. For all these reasons, we would consider staying at the King Krab again.

I thought the accomodations were very comfortable. The owner was very responsive when we had HVAC issues and some sheets/comfortable not clean. It was assumed that the previous guests were trying to hide their mess. Loved the screened porch. Steve was very good to work with.

King Krave Life

The joyful yellow house made us happy the moment we pulled in. The stocked kitchen and abundant amenities exceeded expectations. The addition of the personal ice maker made life so much easier! The kitchen layout and large dinning table were perfect for 8 adults to dine together and play games, so important for a great vacation! The full downstairs bathroom was a huge plus!! Needless to say, the new screened in porch was KRABtastic!!! It was especially nice that the owner checked on us to ensure we found everything to our liking - real personal touch!

Fabulous!!

I had not intended to leave a review until I read the posting of the guests following our stay. We found the home absolutely perfect! No, not pristine or with a 'hands off' feel. It was completely warm and inviting. We truly felt like we were at home. We, too, thought the lighting was a little dim until we found the right switch and then the lighting was more than adequate. Perhaps our followers never found that switch. As for the refrigerator handle, it did break during our stay. We notified the realty company as well as the owner. We told them that it wasn't that much of an inconvenience and it could be fixed after our stay, hence the tape. We cooked every day and found all the utensils and cookware that we needed. I would recommend some containers with lids for leftovers. I assure you that we did indeed clean all dishes as they were used and left with all dishes clean. In all, we had an incredible week! We rent at Holden every year and King Krab is totally perfect for us! We plan to be there this fall as well and can hardly wait! If someone is looking to rent a flawless palace with domestic help to take care of the cleaning, then should they possibly look elsewhere? However, if you are looking for a home that invites you to come in, relax and feel at ease then King Krab will delight you!! Thanks to the owners for sharing their little piece of paradise with us!

King Krab delivers

We stayed here in 2013 and loved it. Then, it was five adults; this year, five aduanas three children, 5, 3, and 3 months. It was awesome for everyone. We made friends with neighbors/ renters on both sides. We found the crab/shark motifs spectacular…the kids couldn’t keep track of the number of crabs and sharks throughout. We enjoyed then access to the beach, the screened-in porch, and the overall layout of the house. We would suggest firmer mattresses, and an outdoor shower (which the house had in 2013). Steve could not have been more accommodating. We wanted to let him know about a slow flushing toilet downstairs that we noticed when we arrived, and he was Johnny- on-the-spot. (We never needed to use the shower or toilet, but we wanted to make him aware that the problem was there when we arrived). We look forward to a futbooking of King Krab. No complaints! Please extend our gratitude to the Krangle family for their hospitality.
