"When we got there, our safe would not work when we called maintenance, he came right away and the safe was replaced. That same day the toilet had this awful squeal to it, they fixed that immediately as well. So we were quite impressed. The only thing I could suggest which is for all hotels is that if you know you have two adults staying for a week for a rest, don't put a family with screaming kids in the next room. There was a vacancy sign, so i'm certain there would have been the ability to put...

"Perfect location! Walking distance to the shops if you want to do some shopping. We had a nice view of the mountain and you can see Bear st from it. We stayed in a 2 bed and 2 bath room. Very spacious and clean. There’s a stove, fridge and microwave if you want to do some cooking. The only downside is the parking. They dont have their own parking. You gotta park in the streets which you have to pay $12 canadian $$ per hour from 8am- 8pm and free from 8pm-8am or park for free by the train station...

"The check in-process was less than ideal, there were some issues online validating our cards which led to an off-site check in at a separate hotel (there are no staff on-site).
HOWEVER. The saving grace of the experience was our experience with Morgan. She was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make sure everything got sorted out (including walking back to the hotel on three separate occasions). Give her a raise.
The location was incredible and without a doubt the best value...

"Four older gals rented the 3 bedroom unit with a bunk bed. The space was large and the beds were comfortable. This is the second time we have stayed at the Basecamp on Bow Trail in Canmore and we will definitely stay there again.
There were enough tools in the kitchen for our basic use as we did not cook in the room. My only comment would be you can hear the trains go by if you do not wear ear plugs, which Basecamp provides. With ear plugs it is fairly quiet.
Hot tub area was great as you...
