"Lovely room - very spacious. Comfortable, big bed. Shower had good water pressure which was nice. Didn’t use many of the amenities as we were there for sight seeing but lobby/bar was very nice, had a quick drink there. Only downside was the coffee they offered in the morning was very expensive and tasted awful. They should offer free coffee or if they’re going to charge that much, should offer options for better flavors (creamers, syrups etc). "

"For the price point, this place was well below average. The floor was barely vacuumed, bed was hard as a rock, shower smelled like mildew every time we turned it on, outlets were loose or missing covers, they didn’t refresh our linens or take our trash away, and the TV kept cutting in and out. The location to the metro itself was convenient, but be warned that train whistles will start blowing early AM (one night the train came through at 350 AM). We traveled with a young baby and the staff were helpful with our requests for additional services. They are responded quickly to any issues in the room. "Would highly recommend if visiting the area. Rooms, food and staff all top notch. Metro rail station is one block over,. Great way to visit DC without having to fight traffic. Car park rate at hotel is very reasonable as well. Will def sat here again on next trip ti DC Metro ares."

"This didn’t get 4 stars mainly due to the amenities. The “breakfast” is a pretty typical continental and at $22/person was a bit much in our opinion. The sushi bar on top was pretty decent food, but also pretty expensive and it took quite a long time to get any one to serve us as well as get any of our food. "Located just a few blocks from the White House, the location is perfect. Room was very nice with a great view of the park, rates were good, the valet parking is a little expensive but very convenient and it's expected at the location. The restaurant is good and with the 15% off for hotel guests makes it a little less overpriced. Would definitely recommend this hotel, a lot of pros and not many cons."
