Mockingbird Cabin (Hocking Hills area)

Must be 25 years or older to rent this property. The guest on the reservation must be present at check-in with photo ID which matches address and credit card used. The booking guest must be present during the complete stay.

A rental agreement will need signed upon booking and a Refundable Damage Deposit of $300 will be charged to your credit card 3 days prior to arrival. This deposit will be fully refunded within 3 days after checkout, provided there are no damages or policy violations.

Trip Cancellation & Travel Insurance Program options available for purchase when booking a stay not less than 30 days before check in date.


Mockingbird Cabin is a multi-level chalet-style log cabin. This cabin has a screened porch and an open, covered deck. Hot tub for viewing wildlife and relaxing. There is a comfortable Great Room to kick off shoes, relax and watch TV inside. A stone fireplace is a welcome retreat in the cooler months and a place to chat around the fire. And after a day hiking the trails, the luxurious hot tub will soak cares away. Outside there is a campfire ring to sit around and enjoy a fire. There is a screened porch overlooking the woods.

The entire cabin was warm and inviting. They put up a Christmas tree for us which was absolutely adorable. I didn't expect that at all. The hot tub was nice and clean and we used it multiple times a day. The washer and dryer was great too. And we used it while we were there as well. All of the beds were comfy and all of the linens were nice and clean. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and would consider staying here again.

Nice and roomy cabin! Truly enjoyed ourselves. We stayed in the month of December and the Christmas Tree was such a nice surprise! Everything was very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was a great touch! Really enjoyed the ping pong table.

Rob was welcoming & very helpful.The Mockingbird Cabin has a cozy feel. A fireplace on the main floor is next to a screened porch which is a wonderful place to watch the early sun with a cup of tea or unwind in the evening.

The cabin was as advertised, great location and very clean.We must suggest you replace the mattress on both downstairs beds as they are extremely uncomfortable. Also, the use of Amazon Commercial Basic toilet paper makes the hosts appear cheap as it is not fit for use.Nightstands by the beds would be useful as well as lamps by the sofa.

Mockingbird cabin stay

A group of us Marines have been having reunions for more than 10 years now out of the more than 30 years we’ve been together. This year was the Ohio stay and we had an amazing time, the cabin was better than described. Clean, organized, and fun, wood was available and the hot tub was clean. Highly recommend

Great Cozy stay for NYE

A group of 10 of us stayed for NYE, it was a bit tight to have four adults in the loft but it worked fine for us. The cabin looks even better in person than in the photos. Tucked in a beautiful road where it felt quiet and serene. Hot tub was fantastic and the property was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the essential cookware and plenty of dishes. The team was incredibly responsive and made modifications to our booking when asked, and answered questions very quickly. Would highly recommend!

Our family trip

Excellent. We used the hot tub Friday evening, but on Saturday evening when we went to use it, the water had cooled off and we did not use it again. Not sure if it needed turned up or what but it never heated back up after Friday.

Fun family house

Lots of features, loved the game room, hot tub and fully screened porch with porch swing. Incline of property and drive would bit be elder or toddler friendly, but fine for everyone else. We would definitely come back!

Unplugged with Family

We really enjoyed Mockingbird Cabin. The weather was poor so we spent more time indoors than expected. The ping pong table and video game on the lower level really came in handy! We loved sitting on the swing on the screened in back porch and watching the wild turkeys and red-headed woodpeckers! The hosts were wonderful and helpful. We will come back again!
