Overall, the appartment was kind of sketchy. It is definitely not beautiful, and if it was newly renovated, it is in need of more renovation. There is peeling paint in places, some of the baseboards are coming off, all the heat/ventilating registers are all covered over with tape and paper, doorknobs don't work, mousetraps were set in various places. It was also quite dirty - it doesn't look like the appartment in the picture. It also should be noted in the ad that it is a basement appartment. The bed itself was comfortable - that was about the only thing that measured up.

The property owner was accommodating and helped to make sure we were happy and wanted to come back

It's a scam. Claimed the unit was suddenly unavailable but a much more expensive property was available.

No confirmation!

I was not able to rent this property due to the fact that the owner did not confirm reservation. I was hoping to have a place to stay for 4 nights however I was left scrambling at the very last minute to find other accommodations. Personally, I think if your going to put your property up for rent like this then you should be checking your email frequently for any interest. If you plan on taking a holiday or not going to be around then you should take it off the site for the time being.

Great Value for the price

Unit was neat and tidy when I got there but had not actually been cleaned since the last check out and by that I mean dishes were clean but on the dish rack, no towels, bed was made but needed fresh linens. The landlord showed up and apologized profusely. He was not sure what happened, but he cleaned the room himself while I continued with the work I was doing. I wouldn't hold this against him and I plan to rent this bachelor again.
