I had a slight issue with the coffee maker (it didn't work at the outlet) but upon contacting the owner, a new coffeemaker was brought and it was discovered that the outlet just needed to be reset. "The house is beautiful and the location is a few minutes walk from downtown greendale. We were able to walk there every morning, drink coffee, and relax. This was the highlight of our trip. The inside of the house was lovely, stocked with towels, kitchen items, paper towel, etc. Everything looked clean and the outside area was very well maintained. "For other travelers considering this spot, just know it's a basement apartment, below a house in a subdivision. I could hear feet walking overhead and voices. The best part is the back porch and view of the trees and creek. I spent a lot of time sitting out there listening to the birds. Inside the space, it's a little dark, and some of the electrical outlets don't work. I had to move the coffee pot and try a few to get my laptop to charge. I still had a pleasant stay and loved the peaceful view."

We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, stove, etc. Located close to the local night life, easily within walking distance.
