"Spacious and well laid out accommodation. Well equipped and comfortable. Ground floor accommodation with great accessibility. Only negatives were that heating was way too hot and couldn’t control, showers cycled randomly from boiling hot to cold and a lot of negative instruction signs telling us what not to do or couldn’t do gave it a bit of a negative feel."

"This is our second visit to Blue Horizon. Another fantastic stay, felt like coming home. Love the addition of the summer room, especially great on a rainy day. Lots of walking routes directly from the property. We explored Portland, the quarry park, walking to Portland Bill along the coastal path. Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property."

"This was the first time i have stayed at an apartment as normal use hotels, but this maybe the way forward for me as a frequent traveler. It was like home from home with some very nice touches which whilst simple but milk in the fridge was great especially for the cup of tea in the morning. "Do not stay here if you are disabled or unable to carry your bags up a steep flight of outdoor metal stairs. The unit I stayed in is a refurbished attic. It’s well done and has a kitchenette. But, there does not appear to be any air conditioning. There is heat. I was there when it was cool, but it’s a second floor bedroom so it’s probably hot in the summer. "We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "
