Welcome to our Home Away from Home, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! With over 2 acres of land, the outdoor space, including a large fire pit and outdoor games, is a great place to relax and spend time with family and friends! This spacious, dog-friendly property features 3 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms, a beautiful open concept kitchen and living space, and a cozy den for reading or working. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies and appliances, and water and food bowls for your furry friends, too! Guests have access to a large, 2+ car garage and extra-long driveway for parking your trailer or boat. George K Pinney County Park - a public park and boat landing - is just a 5-minute drive away!

This property allows up to 3 well-behaved dogs, with an additional fee collected at booking.

-Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

This property is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Summer Getaway

House was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The dogs liked the big yard. Location was close to Sturgeon Bay for meals and an easy drive to parks throughout the area. Quiet neighborhood was appreciated.

Spacious, clean and great location

The house is beautiful and in a great location. The appliances, cleanliness, and conveniences were great. A few things that were annoying. The air conditioning and ventilation was poor. The master bedroom was freezing no matter what we set the temperature at. The back 2 bedrooms were very hot no matter the temperature setting. The kids were uncomfortable sleeping. The mattresses were very firm. Uncomfortably firm for all.

Major Hiccup Resolved

Our stay began by finding out the property had no hot water. The host was quick to respond to the call. Unfortunately, the problem could not be fixed during the first night of our stay. We were unable to shower after the road trip or the next morning. That did change our plans for the first two days of a 4- day mini getaway. We spent nearly 24 hours without hot water. The rest of the stay was relaxing and fine. This home is a little out of the way- a 10-40 minute drive from activities. We really appreciated that we could have our dog with us. He settled in well, and the neighborhood was perfect for quiet walks. We made use of the fire pit for relaxing evenings. We were visited by multiple deer, bunnies, and even a turkey. The home has a new water heater now, so any future guests should not have the same problem we did.

Staying Door County

Love the layout of the house. Close to all the town’s without traveling a long distance. Quiet neighborhood, deer outside your backyard in the morning and evenings. Neighbors are friendly. Brought two granddaughters and two dogs. Everyone enjoyed the trip!

Nice spot!

Great space— plenty large with good layout, furnishings, appointments. Location was nice, convenient to everything, quiet neighborhood, good for walks, close to water and to town. Nice outdoor areas.

Peaceful Location, Well Maintained and Spacious

Our group of five (plus the pup) enjoyed our stay at this new listing. Location worked great for us particularly because we knew we wanted to explore Sturgeon Bay a bit more on this trip. But the location worked well for our day trips into Egg Harbor, Sister Bay, Fish Creek and Bailey's Harbor also. Very peaceful location, large yard, and close enough to the Green Bay shore that we could easily drive there for sunsets. Kitchen was well appointed, and the spacious three bedroom house was very clean and well maintained. I particularly enjoyed drinking coffee and taking some work emails (strong internet/wifi) at the outdoor patio table in the mornings watching the cedar waxwings come in to grab rope strands for nesting material. Access to the garage was also a plus. All in all, a very nice home and location!
