Unfortunately, while this property itself was beautiful for the retreat we were hosting, the misleading sleeping arrangements, inadequate kitchen facilities and the lack of response and support from the property owner left us really disappointed. The bedrooms with double sofa beds actually only have couches (one very old) that don’t pull out at all. This meant we were sold two rooms with two separate beds and then had to ask our guests who were sharing a room to also share a bed. The one sofa bed in the open loft had a terrible mattress that no one could sleep on. We told the property owner ahead of time that we’d hired a private chef for our weekend. Out of the 4 stove burners, only 1 worked initially. One of the ovens overheated to dangerous levels, even when set to low. The 2nd oven took 1.5 hrs to preheat. The kitchen bakeware provided either didn’t fit in the oven or it wasn’t oven safe and ended up smoking and setting off the smoke detectors. There were no instructions on how to use the kitchen appliances or what to do in the event of the smoke detectors going off. The large coffee carafe didn’t work so we had to make coffee for 10 people using two small coffee machines. We were also charged extra tax and got no response from the owner when we reached out to ask why. Also no responses after our stay to address the issues we encountered or to update the listing to accurately reflect the property and appliances.

Excellent property with lots of space. Everything was provided and sometime more than expected (4 different types of coffee maker!). Very clean and comfortable. Great space for family or friends. The only problem we had was that the oven temperature was unpredictable and one of the fridges stopped working periodically and had to be restarted several times.

Great family vacation home

This is one of the best equipped and maintained Vrbo places we have stayed. The kitchen was awesome with every utensil you could think of. They also had plenty of toys and books for the kids as well as some outdoor games for us yo use. There was something for every age group. The yard and water access was well groomed and there was plenty of space for yard games. A great rental for a large family: We were 17 including grandkids.

Fantastic Property

We had a great visit as a family on the property. The house was great and it accommodated our family very well. It is spacious and there is plenty of room. We are considering going there again next summer. The kids loved it, access to the lake is great. It is a well maintained property.

It was a great spacious place that accommodated our group of 14 comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped. The yard is spacious for kids to play safely as it is fully fenced. The lake view is a bonus. Would definitely stay there again.

New Year's Family Gathering

The co-host/site manager was accessible, responsive and friendly. Prior to our arrival, manager communicated that there was considerable clean up after the former guests. We checked in by around 4:15 PM and she was still on-site doing laundry till approximately 8:30 PM. This is a large home with a lot to do to turn it around, looking for an off-season deep clean.Scenic location, plenty of cutlery, plates, bowls, serving bowls, kitchen tools and towels. Drinkware could use an edit. More coffee mugs would be a welcome addition. Great seating areas in the main living space and loft. Lots of seating for meals at the dining room table and stools at the island. The listing has two ovens (both small capacity), but only one is in working order. Stove is a bit finicky. Appreciated the large fridge and second fridge in garage. Entire property could use an edit - remove or replace broken and damaged kitchen tools and appliances, remove random and excessive clutter in the cabinets and closets. Leaving a more generous supply of paper products from the start would have been welcomed. Appreciated the supply of shampoo, conditioner and soap products. Really enjoyed the fireplace once we cleaned out the vents allowing for proper air intake and venting. Stores and restaurants aren't nearby so we were glad that we packed the groceries and other items that we thought we'd need. Overall, we enjoyed our time and see that this property has huge potential.

A great anniversary get together

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with all of our kids, the grand kids and the great grand kids. The home was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. The large kitchen area made preparing meals easy and the cupboards were well equipped and well stocked. Much better than other rental homes that we stayed in. We even found some spices in the cupboard that were needed and we forgot to bring. The kids enjoyed playing in the large fenced yard. We will have many fond memories of the time we spent here.

3 Night Stay

Nice big beautiful cabin. Tons of supplies for the kitchen. Accommodated a large group perfectly. Open layout. Fenced in yard for security. Great outdoor space. Large fire pit. We look forward to booking with them again!
