  • Casa de piedra Cotswold del siglo XVII en el bonito pueblo de France Lynch.

    Tenemos la suerte de estar en una ubicación extremadamente tranquila, prácticamente sin ruido de la carretera, la noche es silenciosa (aparte de la vida silvestre ocasional) y como no estamos mirando directamente hacia los valles de Stroud, prácticamente no tenemos contaminación lumínica por la noche ... Realmente es un lugar ideal para descansar y relajarse.
    Estamos idealmente ubicados para hacer turismo, pero hay tantas cosas directamente en la puerta que no necesita viajar lejos, el área es extremadamente hermosa pero aún no está sujeta a turismo masivo como Stow on the Wold, Bibury, The Slaughters, Burford, Moreton on the Marsh, etc. (Sin duda, vale la pena visitarlo).

    A pesar de estar en un entorno tranquilo, tenemos un pub local que sirve comida casera a 5 minutos a pie y otras comodidades locales como un mini supermercado, farmacia, cajero automático, comida para llevar, estación de combustible (además de muchos otros pubs a 5-10 minutos en auto) .

    La cabaña está llena de carácter, que incluye paredes interiores de piedra de Cotswold, pisos de madera, vigas, asientos de ventana, chimenea con chimenea y muebles antiguos. La cabaña ofrece excelentes vistas desde el jardín privado exterior con césped, cocina, salón y las dos habitaciones sobre los campos, valles boscosos y bonitas casas de campo, ambas habitaciones tienen techos altos con vigas enmarcadas. Hay un baño en el primer piso que está cerca de las dos habitaciones, el baño tiene una ducha y un baño con ducha fija.
    La sala de estar es luminosa e incluye TV de pantalla plana y reproductor de DVD (hay una gran variedad de DVD y libros en la cabaña), la sala de estar conduce a un ambiente / comedor separado con mesa de comedor para cuatro.
    La cocina tiene una gran cocina, fregadero Belfast, lavavajillas, lavadora, nevera y un pequeño congelador separado.
    Ambas habitaciones tienen chimenea, excelentes vistas y son de buen tamaño, una tiene una cama doble y la otra tiene una cama king size, ambas tienen amplio espacio de almacenamiento.
    Se ha tenido cuidado con el mobiliario y la decoración suaves para garantizarle unas vacaciones relajantes y confortables.
    Hay un estacionamiento asignado directamente al lado de la cabaña en un camino privado.

Cosy charming cottage. Very comfortable with fully equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom, lovely views. Quiet and peaceful at night. Lovely walks but quite strenuous as very hilly.

The cottage was absolutely charming. It was warm and quiet and was a perfect base for exploring the areas around. Inside there were so many quirky, fun, clever bits of interior design to enjoy. And the hosts, Ann and Pete were delightful and helpful, living right next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay.

Lovely 2-bedroom stone cottage with spectacular views of the Cotswolds! Well apportioned kitchen which we barely used due to our daily sightseeing travels and dining. Comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Roads to the cottage were extremely narrow for an American learning to drive on the left side of the road, but we left without any damage to our rental. Centrally located between Bath, Bourton-on-the-Water, Castle Combe, and Broadway. Stroud market on Saturdays is a nice experience, as was the Stroud Brewery and Egypt Mill in Nailsworth.

A perfect Cotswolds cottage

A delight to stay in a beautifully curated home yet so cozy and inviting. The hosts have thought of every detail and this location makes a great base for Cotswolds walks and exploring quaint villages. Thank you for sharing this lovely cottage!

Oxford Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay in the lovely cottage. We’ve been hiking various pieces of the Cotswold Way, enjoying the bluebells, and coming back to the cottage at the end of the day. We’d definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. Perfect location from which to explore the local area as well as having great local walks if you don’t want to venture far. Would highly recommend!

We had a superb time in the area and a key part of this was staying at Oxford House. A truly homely and elegant cottage, with everything that is needed. Host Ann was wonderfully helpful and we look forward to coming back!

Lovely cottage

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our hosts were lovely people and the rental well appointed to self cater. It was not too difficult to navigate to the surrounding areas for sightseeing. Many areas to walk nearby as well. We enjoyed the local pub too 😉 Would highly recommend.

A special place

An idealistic place to stay either to chill out or explore the Cotswolds. Our hosts, Ann & Peter ipitomsed their Cottage in every way and made us feel totally at home from the minute we arrived. Everything about the place was top grade and we would highly recommend it 100%.
