"We had an amazing, but too short, stay here at this beautiful and quiet winery. We spent two nights in the area but should have spent more. Anna and Matteo are wonderful hosts. They are welcoming and helpful in so many ways. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace overlooking the vineyards and a wine tasting after breakfast. The wine was delicious and the tour was great. We would definitely come back and stay a week or more and enjoy the peaceful and relaxing setting. Thanks for having us!"

"The room has potential. Much about the room was fine. Here are the issues that we experienced: road noise, tobacco smoke rising from the restaurant, inadequate interior lighting, no hooks for towels, too few hooks for clothes, the sheets were not clearly clean. If you stay here, request a room on the back, away from the road and restaurant. The place has potential, but the little details matter. "

"This is a hidden gem. A car is essential as the hotel is in a very pretty but rural area with no other facilities. However the hotel is absolutely first class, the rooms are spacious, airy and well appointed. The hotel restaurant is brilliant with a great selection of local dishes and on Saturday and Sunday a quaint small bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and watch the occasional cyclist or car go by. The owning family are so helpful and made us feel so welcome "

"Really well appointed and spacious apartment in gorgeous village of Smartno. Everything you could need and everything very close by in terms of food and drink options. Buffet breakfast was provided at a premises just around the corner. Comfy big bed."

"Very centrally located in the town of Bovec. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean breakfast and dinner were good. We enjoyed our stay just be aware that in the spring they do not have air-conditioning available only in the summertime however it was not necessary as the temperatures were quite cool at night with the windows open. "Awesome stay at Al Pompiere. Quaint and comfortable room and absolutely gorgeous views....vines and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Luca was just fabulous on arrival!! And we had a terrific continental breakfast before leaving in the morning... and one of the best cappuccinos we had!"
