"This is not just a place with a bed and a bath, but was an experience. It starts with the peaceful setting that is a bit off the beaten path. Next are all the bright interior colors that have been used throughout. There are a lot of interesting pictures and items on the walls that give one the impression that you are a visitor in someone’s home. "Beautiful, spacious, and comfortable cottage. Everything was spotless. The view is magnificent. It was a joy to make dinner and breakfast and enjoy it with that view. The host was very friendly and always responded to messages promptly. Would definitely return to this place when visiting Skye again. We could easily do day trips from there and do all we wanted to do in the island in 3 days. Would love to come back and stay longer to do more hikes around, and enjoy the magnificent sunrises and...

"Overall, a great lodging in the heart of a quaint community. It was just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and a grocery. (BTW, if you arrive late, like we did shortly after 8, either quickly make to a restaurant–most close their kitchens by 8:30–or do what we did, go down the street toward the grocery near the water's edge and pick up things you can cook).
