The Apartment Is Situated On The South Pier In The The Most Picturesque Location

A sensitively designed and well finished property in a prime position in a beautiful seaside village overlooking the harbour, little sandy beach and promenade.The apartment offers stylish, comfortable accomodation on two floors for a romantic getaway for two people. The bedroom, with en-suite shower and dressing room is on the lower level and the upper floor is accessed by a spiral staircase from the dining area.There are outside doors on both levels to the free car parks just outside
The stunning upstairs lounge is crafted in douglas fir.
The property is very well insulated.There is underfloor heating downstairs and a wood burning stove and radiator upstairs.
There are two flat screen TV's , a DVD player and music centre with a selection of CD's, DVD's and plenty of books for you to browse through.

Our host were excellant made our stay memorable excellant location easy for walks close to bus stop to stranraer and beyond good places to eat highly recommend the Port Pantry for breakfast opens 9 30we will certainly try book there again if we get the chance to come back thanks Alice and Frank

It was a really lovely place to stay, apart from one little hiccup but it was dealt with very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble. We received 20% discount from their shop. which was a pleasant surprise and some beautiful items to purchase. There was plenty to see and do or if you want to just do nothing, then there were peaceful places to find. The local mini golf and bowls club were extremely friendly and helpful. The whole harbour made you feel very welcome. We thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed the time in Scotland

Beautiful accommodation, fantastic location, and very well equipped - you will want for nothing. The fresh fruit and fresh flowers were a really nice touch.

This apartment was fully equipped although we would have liked a small freezer too!. Very comfortable and well appointed throughout. Close to shops and restaurants/pubs. The owners were very friendly and helpful in offering suggestions for days out etc. Would love to go back if we were in that region again.

You wont find a better apartment in Portpatrick nor more friendly owners. Booking through Owners direct though is a nightmare....We booked and the owners confirmed our booking, and stated they did not want a deposit until we arrived. Owners direct issued us an ultimatum however, Either we paid £100 or we would lose the booking. We contacted the owner, who confirmed she had the accommodation was reserved, and did not want a deposit. We contacted Owners Direct with this info. They said they would reply within three days, but again said if I did not pay £100 by the following morning, I would lose the booking. I paid, under duress. As holiday time approached Owners Direct contacted me to say I had paid my £48 booking fee, plus £100 deposit, the balance being due on arrival. On arrival the owners knew nothing about me having paid £100, and asked if it had been taken from my account. I could not confirm that there and then, so they very kindly said pay nothing more till you get home to check your account. When I got home, I checked my Owners Direct account which confirmed I had paid £100 deposit, but when I checked my bank account, they had not taken the sum asked for. Owners Direct are a pain in the neck, and I would never book through them again. The owners of this apartment are very fine people, and the apartment is first class, we will return there, but NOT via Owners Direct!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse Apartment. Was beautiful inside and had everything we needed. I was there with my two children but would be a real gem for a romantic getaway. I would definitely book again.

Stayed here for 3 nights in July 2017. The house is very nice, all furniture and decorations are very nice, all very top quality and beautiful mirrors, clocks etc. The view over the harbour and bay is beautiful, the upstairs is very cosy and you can imagine relaxing here and enjoying the view. Portpatrick is a great place to visit, lots of pubs and restaurants close by. Campbell's restaurant is great and the Lighthouse pottery sell lots of nice jewellery and trinkets. A small down side, the bedroom is downstairs and the bathroom is upstairs, also the wardrobe space is upstairs but these little quirks add to to character of the place. We would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our week in Portpatrick. This lovely house is right on the harbour side, two minutes walk from the pubs and with a gorgeous view across the harbour and little beach. Lovely walking locally especially along the coast. The house was very comfortable and well laid out with all the facilities you'd need. The owners' home and shop is next door and they were friendly and helpful advising us on local walks and even lending us maps. Wish we could have stayed longer!

First impression is a wow factor. The upstairs lounge with the Scottish Douglas fir ceiling and pine floor, great views is amazing! Property was comfortably furnished to a very high standard. Warm and welcoming hosts. Spotless. The owners have thought of every little detail to make things more comfortable for the visitor. Highly recommended
