"Friendly welcome, Room 1, nice and well decorated, comfy bed, and a good selection of pillow sizes, shower was a rainfall, with good pressure and coverage. Restaurant and Bar raised area also for eating or drinking , so accommodating to a single traveller, it was lovely. I stay away over 40 weeks a year, and this is my number one for this area . 5 stars from me "

"Room was clean although the bathroom could do with a deep clean (shower area). Staff were very pleasant and the food was delicious. One of the main reasons for booking the Waddington Arms was that the website said they have an EV charger. Upon arrival we found out that it had been removed last year, luckily enough I was able to charge up in clitheroe. I would go back regardless of the lack of charger, although it would have been a bonus"

"I wasn't sure what to expect before I arrived at the Derby Arms but the initial greeting was warm and sincere. My room was delightful, clean and well appointed with a good sized bathroom with both a bath and a choice of shower heads. For both nights I ate in the restaurant and was served by a charming and efficient waitress. "Setting was idylic, bar area was cosy and warm especially when log fire was burning. Staff very welcoming and charming. Restuarant lovely and food excellent, limited menu but prepared fresh. Rooms very quaint, little one bedroom cottage, lounge area downstairs with Tv and upstairs a bedroom and bathroom with large bath and powerful shower. Will certainly return"
