"I had a great stay at the Peaceful Getaway in Sedgwick. Listing was just as described. Very cute and clean tiny home with everything an individual or couple might need. Beautiful spot to relax, and close to Blue Hill and other wonderful areas. (I recommend a walk through the Harriman Point Preserve in nearby Brooklin.) Check-in process was great, and although the main house is nearby it felt very private. I highly recommend this spot. "

"Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. "Pros: Very quiet, clean and comfortable. The bed was great (despite some other reviewers dislikes) and the check-in process was relatively easy. Just a short drive to Camden and Rockland and most everything is right off of the main road in both towns. Cons: There is a main office there, but they do not do anything with regards to reservations. There is no way to check-in early or discuss anything reservation related with someone in person on the site, you are required to go through the...

"The cottage was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, We really enjoyed and made good use of the fire pit. It was all set up and ready to light. Southwest Harbor is my favorite place to stay on the island. It is much less touristy than Bar Harbor but still has some good dining options as well as a nice coffee shop. We had a great stay."

"Wonderful home right on a quiet lake. We had access to a kayak and canoe, which my husband used to go fishing a couple times. The outdoor fire pit is great! The home was immaculate and as listed. The host was responsive when we had questions. We would love to go back with friends or family again."

"We enjoyed our stay overall. The main floor is beautiful and looks receently remodeld. The upper floor is like stepping back in time several decades. It definitely could use an update, but it did not detract from our stay. The pool was nice to have, but ran colder than we expected. "We loved staying at this cottage! It was conveniently located to many great hiking spots and felt secluded enough out in the woods. Just a short walk from a very nice secluded rocky beach as well. I would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a great retreat out to Acadia!"

"This home is tastefully decorated in a nautical theme. It is a perfect location for various hiking trails, the national park and restaurants. The house has beautiful views of the harbor and the bedroom allows you to watch the sunrise. The house was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this vacation home. "

"The house was clean and just what we were looking for for our trip to Acadia. Walked into town for dinner & icecream which was nice. Unfortunately while we were there we noticed a gas leak in the kitchen. The host was very responsive and professional, sending a technician the next day who was able to turn off the gas. No fault of the host, but definitely took away from our overall trip having to worry about that. Otherwise property was well maintained."
