This flat was the perfect spot to land after our days of adventure in the area and had everything we needed to fuel up when we got hungry. The space was beautifully laid out and had was so comfortable.

Good stay

We had a good stay in beautiful Stonehaven. The flat was well equipped and close to the coastal walk and restaurants. The owner left a lot of nice welcome treats and was easy to communicate with, giving plenty of information on the area and places to eat.

Host was extremely helpful and a mine of information. The apartment is central - only a few minutes walk to the centre and to the Harbour. Ideally sited for anyone going to Stonehaven for the Fireballs.

Stonehaven

Stonehaven is a lovely village right on the North Sea. The flat was perfectly situated to the town square and small local shopping and to a lovely Sea Walk. Lots of good restaurants and close to beautiful Dunotter Castle. Apartment is well appointed and lacks nothing for a stay.

Best Holiday Rental Ever!

We have stayed at many and this was hands done the nicest, best stocked, best decorated, nicest hosts, and in a wonderful location. Everything was wonderful from the furnishings to the linens and the special touches and items found in the kitchen. The hosts have stocked the place with books, maps, and other items to find the area's attractions. The location is in a perfect location to visit this seaside town, it's attractions, and to day trip to places like Aberdeen.

Richards flat was perfect for our family visit to Stonehaven over the Christmas week. The flat was very welcoming with many extras and Christmas decorations. It was spotlessly clean and all the furnishings and equipment were in excellent condition. Richard replied to any queries we had immediately and with good humour. We highly recommend Richards place for a visit to Stonehaven. 5 stars

Excellent apartment

This is a wonderful apartment in the town of Stonehaven. It’s in a great location to visit many places of interest nearby including Dunnottar Castle. The coast is beautiful and there are a number of good restaurants in walking distance. Richard and Julie are great hosts - absolutely everything is provided to make guests feel welcome. We would recommend it unreservedly

Absolutely terrific!

We had the best time! The flat was well appointed (SMEG appliances) and Richard and Julie left lovely treats for us. It’s quiet, very comfortable, and the location is stunning. You’ll hear the seagulls every morning and it’s an easy walk to the harbor. Stonehaven is unique. The people are welcoming and the restaurants are epic! Highly recommended.

Fabulous!

Absolutely fabulous apartment. Everything in it we needed plus plus. Very clean and everything worked. Richard was very communicative and suggested things to do, places to eat etc etc. The only negative was that it was on a busy street and therefore very noisy during the day.

Amazing Host

Richard was a wealth of knowledge and so quick to respond to all of my messages. He gave us not only expert advice on Stonehaven but also of the area we were headed to next. The apartment was clean and super well stocked. He left cold beers in the fridge as well as an ample supply of coffee. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!!.

Absolutely fabulous apartment. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen area is incredibly well equipped and the host left a generous amount of treats. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby if you don’t want to cook. It is on the main road so there is daytime traffic noise but it is lovely and quiet at night. The host provided lots of information on the area prior to arrival and there is additional information in the visitor’s folder in the flat. WiFi was good. Always managed to get parked nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Stoneheven The Perfect Stay

First of all I would like to sincerely thank you for taking time out of your day to pick me up at airport. I don’t think that was part of your job as host, but once again. It was nice to meet you and talk. Also so kind of you to show me the important place I should need while there. As I told you the apartment was very comfortable and I love how you decorated it. I used the coffee machine and it wasn’t to hard to handle. I just walked to the Dunnottar forest and it was really beautiful. I met some lovely people there that helped me along and one actually walked with me and she had a dog who was enjoying herself too. Got a lot of good walk down by the harbor and was able to enjoy the crepes at cafe noir. Thanks for the suggestion. I found the bus station and was able to go to the castle too. Very windy but very impressive. Thank you for all your help with any question I had too. It was a pleasure to stay there. Scotland is fantastic.

Great location in the middle of town with on street parking available outside. The flat was perfect for our family of 4 and a good base to explore Aberdeenshire and Angus. The flat is homely and well equipped. Lots of nice touches by the owners. Communication was faultless with details about the flat and things to do in the surrounding area. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
