"We had the best time at the goat farm! It was definitely rustic, but cozy and welcoming in all the right ways. The kids were in heaven—they got to milk goats, feed them, and explore the whole property. They haven’t stopped talking about it!It felt like stepping into a slower, simpler rhythm of life, and we loved every minute of it. "My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic time at this cabin. Loved the location- peaceful, quiet and lots of great hiking nearby. The cabin is cozy, well appointed and maintained. Jeff has clearly put a lot of thought and effort to ensure his guests are comfortable- he provided so much information on not just the cabin but the area in general. We came to celebrate our anniversary and we had such a wonderful time! We’re already talking about planning another trip in the fall!"

"This is my third stay here. It's a wonderful cabin and property for nature lovers! The lovely deck is a perfect place to take in the surroundings. A pond, a waterfall, a fire pit and a cozy cabin, totally private, what more could you ask for? If you have physical limitations, just be aware that you have to walk up a small hill and some stairs from the parking area and the spiral staircase inside may be difficult to navigate for some. "

"What a great place to stay close to Middlebury college. My wife and I were visiting our son at Middlebury college. We brought our Labrador Retriever. What a great dog friendly neighborhood! Brian was very accommodating and even let us check in hours early. It was great to have a fenced in yard. It's a quiet and beautiful neighborhood! We will always try to stay here when visiting our son. "

"This house was absolutely perfect for our group which included young adults, old adults, older adults, a toddler and two dogs! The house was gorgeous, the fireplace worked beautifully and we had a fire going constantly, cooked in the very well-equipped kitchen, and enjoyed roaming the property. The town of Brandon is lovely, with a fantastic bakery/coffeeshop, micro-brewery, independent bookstore and unique gift shops. There was also a grocery store in town. We hope to be back. Highly...

"Had an amazing time, the house is beautiful and waking up in the morning with the sun coming through the windows made it feel like a vacation. The deck and patio was amazing we spent all of our time outside. Our canine family member (our baby boy) loved the yard and barking at the kayaks going by. A lot of wildlife geese, ducks, birds, and muskrats, even small turtles. Not much to due in town, but took a short ride to Woodstock had lunch by the river and walked the East End Park. "My husband and I came from Michigan and met family from Massachusetts to run the Covered Bridges Half Marathon! This spot was so perfect—we loved the coffee bar and just enjoyed how comfortable and homey the whole place feels. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Our family unfortunately made the trip for a funeral, but this house helped to make it a peaceful trip. The house and location were the peaceful retreat needed. There were 9 of us, and enough room for everyone to have space when needed. The kitchen stock has everything one needs. "

"This was our third trip back to this house, so needless to say we enjoy staying set the property. It has enough rooms and beds to fit us and our extended family comfortably, has everything we want and need (multiple bathrooms, a fil kitchen,) plus there's the bonus of a working fireplace. The location can't be beat. Right on the lake, about 7 minutes from the Jackson Gore base area, and Erin walking distance to the dust house. We love it. "
