  • Cozy updated custom chalet in a beautiful lakefront community with 2 pools (one is brand new with a separate kiddie pool with fountains and bathrooms). Unit sleeps 8 ( this includes four bunks that have a 150lb weight limit and sleep one each, and three Full beds. Also includes a custom bathroom, grilling deck, and screened porch. Endless summer fun awaits at the private community beach, multiple pools, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pit, fishing pond, shuffleboard courts, pickleball, basketball courts and a community fire-pit to end the day with a s’more.
    The Township Park & beach is also adjacent to the property offering even more privacy & nature. Many wineries, breweries and restaurants close by.
    Please note there are two pools available. One of the pools is open until the end of September. The other closes after Labor Day weekend.
    Included are all kitchen essentials, beach chairs, towels, umbrella, smart tv and WIFI, bathroom towels, Paper towels and TP...ETC We have provided most of the essentials to feel at home while on vacation!
    Please note the chalet itself is not lakefront nor does it have a lake view. It is a short 4 minute or less walk to 2 amazing beaches in our chalets on the lakes community. Our unit is across the street from the pool & volleyball courts/horseshoe pit & shuffleboard. Pickle ball/basketball court is in the backyard. Please note that pool is only garunteed to be open between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day. Weather permitting, sometimes the association opens it prior to Memorial Day weekend and leaves it open later then Labor Day weekend.

Quite and Private w/great beach access.

We stayed during the off-season, but this place was great for our stay. It was cozy and quiet with easy private beach access.

Beach and activities!!

Madyson and Ryan are great hosts and very responsive. The grounds of the chalet are wonderful for kids. The house has what you need, and the basically-appointed lodging encourages you to get outdoors! It's all about enjoying time on the beach as a family.

Fantastic family retreat

We had a wonderful stay at this Chalet on the Lake. It was a great spot to enjoy with kids aged 8 & 10 who loves the many activities available including the beach, pool, shuffleboard, volleyball, ping pong and more. This unit has been beautifully updated and was a pleasure to spend time in.

This was our first time staying at this property. The whole property was well kept and quite even though there were many families there. We do wish there would have been someplace on property to do laundry. Will definitely stay again.

We had a nice time with 4 of our grandchildren.My suggestions would be to get a cookie sheet and have the cleaning lady clean the mildew in the shower.

This was our first time at Chalet on the Lake, and we'll be back (probably every year)! The cottage was the perfect size for my family of 5 and a great location in proximity to the pools, playground, and beach. We were very appreciative of the wagon and beach supplies that were provided with the cottage. Keep in mind the whole complex is older cottages, so the interior is not brand new and in perfect condition. Regardless, our stay was absolutely wonderful and I'd highly recommend!

Chalet getaway

Great property located in the middle of a quiet Chalet community with tons of activities for the family, two beach accesses, courts, pools, ect. This Chalet was clean, nicely updated, and well situated on the property. Everything as described/pictured, and owners were very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Look forward to visiting for years to come!

Great cabin with access to beach and lots of activities

We loved staying at chalet by the lake. The kids could play tennis, basketball, soccer, and volleyball, do the pool and playground, and we had access to two beaches all without leaving the grounds. Sawyer and Stevensville are short drives for restaurants and in-town activities. Will definitely be back!

Great remodel

Enjoyed our short stay. Very clean and nice decorating on the remodel. It was very hot while we were there and air conditioning worked well. We did not use any of the pool areas so no feedback on the common areas.

Best Lake Michigan Beach! Great property

Super cute and well designed chalet, but the star was definitely the beach! I have visited Lake Michigan all up and down the coast and this beach is definitely our new fave. A bit of a cove and very calm, pristine, clear, soft sand. No risk of overcrowding. We spent the majority of our time at the beach and the pool. The whole complex is lovely and we didn't even leave it except for a grocery run and a few meals. Amenities were great, included a wagon for hauling beach gear and toys for the kids, everything you needed and more! My 6 year old is insisting we come back next year! Amazing sunsets! Perfect little Michigan getaway.

Beautiful getaway close to Saint Joseph

An awesome community with a private beach, two pools, a big playground, and lots of things to do. We couldn’t get enough of snapping family photos and heading to Saint Joseph in the evenings for dinner and walks. It’s only 12-15 minutes away and a beautiful drive. The Chalet isn’t too big, too small, but perfect for our family of 3. Walking to the nearest pool and volleyball court is less than 1 minute. The beach is 2-5 depending on which you choose.

Vacation with everything you need

This was such a chill and easy vacation, we can’t wait to go back! The space is perfectly set up and great size for our family of three. It could sleep a lot more, but it would be tight. The updated bathroom and modern feel made the stay feel extra nice and cozy. We loved that we could walk or bike around to all the things we wanted to do. The beaches, two pools, multiple playground, tennis and views made this place so chill and fun. Sunsets were also amazing. Sort car ride to st joe and other sights. We also biked to grand mere state park which has one of our favorite beaches in Michigan. Would definetly stay at the chalets again! Highly recommend. ;)

Chalet shared by 2 parties

Everything was good beside 2 major things: 1. It is not the whole chalet, but only a half of it. You can hear second party at all times, especially, if your neighbors are teenagers. It should be clearly stated on the listing! 2. Air conditioning is extremely loud and not effective at all. We literally “survived” for 3 nights. You also cannot use covered porch because very hot air blowing from back portion of neighbor’s A/C unit thru wide gaps in the wall-devider. This unit is for max 2 adults and 2 kids. Upper bank bed is not for a kid because it is not safe enough. On other hand, the lake, swimming pools, and ground are perfect. You will enjoy your stay outside the chalet!

The stay was pretty good. The AC needs to be updated. The mobile AC unit on the main floor is not sufficient to keep the unit comfortable. The bathroom has 0 ventilation and is very hot most of the time.

Chalet was amazing! Property was well stocked with needed towels and other items needed to make for a very relaxing weekend. We’ve stayed in this community many times and this chalet is by far the nicest one we’ve rented. We will definitely be back!

Family/Friend Trip - Exactly what we were looking for!

We loved staying here at this property. It was close to everything and it was right next to a private beach area. Almost every evening we were the only ones at the beach. It also had a playground which my 2-year-old son loved. This property was less than 10 minutes away from downtown Stevensville's stuff to do and less than 20 minutes away from St. Joseph's downtown. We really loved that everything was close by. Great for my little family as well as my friend couple.
