"Booking was a breeze, communication was excellent, check in was a breeze. We walked in to beautiful soothing music playing on the TV, with lamp on so we could check out the home. We were greeted with a fresh clean environment and beautifully decorated home. We had a relaxing wonderful stay. While you are in Mentone, don’t miss out on going to eat at the Mad Hatter Cafe. It was an awesome experience."

"Cabin/House was close enough, 25 min drive to Chattanooga to be convenient. Had a few problems, but they were addressed quickly by hosts. Nice rustic get away."

"One of the nicest homes we’ve rented thus far . Exceptionally clean, interior was beautiful. A couple of minor things to improve upon kitchen could have been better stocked with paper products and cleaning supplies . Be aware home is not directly lake front , but does have a limited view from front porch. Plenty of parking for both vehicles and boats , neighborhood was absolutely quiet and lovely . Communication with host was great. We will definitely stay again in the future. "

"This is a really beautiful property. Check in was extremely easy. We never had any need to reach out to the owner because everything was clean, comfortable and working perfectly. The location is perfect , it is so close to town, but still feels remote. Make sure to blow up those air mattresses and use the porch swing beds , that ended up being our favorite spot, it was a great place to hang out at night with my 8 year old son and look at the stars and listen to nature once we were done in the...

"My husband and I stayed four days a nights. We were already familiar with the area. We have wanted the opportunity to view Desoto Falls from a different perspective and it did not disappoint! We could see and hear the falls from every room and from the screened deck. It was very relaxing. The house was well equipped for our needs."

"Two grandmothers, a daughter, and 2 granddaughters had a most excellent time. The home was clean and the beds very comfortable. The indoor pool and hot tum got excellent marks from the kids and adults. Convenient to Chattanooga and other areas. We had a great time. I do wish they had a book in the house with all the codes, directions, etc. Communication was good but woud have enjoyed planning ahead. But I would definitely visit again. It would be n excellent location for a large reunion...

"I traveled with 2 16 yr old best friends. They got the upstairs and I got the downstairs both have bathrooms on each level a nice garden tub upstairs and a nice shower downstairs it is kind of a tight fit for everything because it's shaped like a teepee the sunsets were beautiful on the property"

"We enjoyed our stay. Nice home. Family in the area were able to come spend time playing board games with us and just hanging out catching up. Close drive to Shellmound park on the river. This would be awesome for a family with kids as the downstairs room is very cute with nice bunk beds and their own bathroom/shower. Will definitely choose again. Does have steep driveway. "

"Hootin' Henri gave us great access to the waterfalls near Mentone and Fort Payne, Alabama. We enjoyed our time at the cabin and exploring the area. The cabin was conveniently located and had everything we needed. I have recommended this property to several friends who will be visiting that area. "
