"We absolutely love this place. It is a hidden gem and we wish we had known about it decades earlier. We could not get over how beautiful this property is, how millions of stars light up the sky at night, how the Tittabawassee River looks like a mirror. The rooms are comfortable, beautifully Designed and very, very clean. The staff was wonderful and the food in the restaurant was terrific. "We had a fantastic time, with so much to do outdoors, our 5 boys had no problem falling asleep completely exhausted at the end of the day. It’s a mix between “Glamping” and “camping” the cabin was super cute. Has a full fridge and microwave, with an outdoor grill. There’s no toilets or running water in the cabin, but the main lodge has showers and toilets and a full kitchen to use, and the cabin is like 50 feet from it. We had a blast and the kids have asked to come back here every year from now...

"Meals out on the deck, hot dogs cooked over a fire, several nice hiking trails nearby. Tricky to find, but clean, secluded, relaxing and comfy bed. Has fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, washer & dryer. Didn’t use all those myself, but someone else may who reads this review!"

"Had issues with code getting into the place. Responded and unlocked the door from his place. He stopped by to check on us later on and gave us an amazing bottle of wine. Very attentive and a gorgeous place!"

"Hosts were exceptionally friendly. Cabin was just what we needed for a girls weekend. Spent a lot of time on the deck watching the kayakers and pontoon boats. Very clean, quiet, and dark at night. "

"Susan is an amazing host. The cottage was absolutely perfect for us and our little dogs. Bed was very comfortable, and the party store right across the street is a game changer which also has really good food. 10 minutes from East Tawas was another great perk for food and a cool little downtown feel. There is so much to do but we chose to do a lot of relaxing and this was a great spot at a reasonable cost. We will definitely be back!!!"

"The cabin was extremely clean and well-stocked with coffee, cooking supplies, toiletries, extra towels etc. The owner has been communicative. It's also really close to the beach!! We had a great time. "

"Such a beautiful house! Our family loves to cook and the kitchen has everything needed to do just that! We enjoyed canoeing and hiking nearby and did some R&R. "

"Great property and close to Tawas for shopping and Lake Huron. Beautiful sunsets. Loved having a washer and dryer. We were a little disappointed that the Sand Lake access wasn’t closer but it all worked out. We drove to Lake Huron and swam in the Great Lake. "

"The home was everything we thought it would be and more. "

"You might want to do more research before you book here. FYI this cabin does not have a bathroom. It is situated on an old Boy Scout Camp, and the bathroom facility is in the main lodge of the camp. There is a cabin within just a couple feet of this one, so there isn’t any privacy. The manager was kind, and since our stay did not match the description of the property, he did work with us to make it right."

"The house was spacious and very accommodating - the backyard is truly an oasis! Ron and Michelle are great hosts - we loved our week there and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful setting. "
