  • Se trata de un pintoresco viaje de 2 horas y media a través de las montañas Chugach desde y hacia el aeropuerto internacional Ted Stevens y a solo 25 minutos desde y hasta el aeropuerto municipal de Kenai, que se encuentra a 30 minutos en vuelo a Anchorage.
    El establecimiento se encuentra a menos de 1,6 km del famoso río Kenai ya solo 15 minutos de Soldotna, hogar del récord mundial King Salmon. Para tus viajes de pesca a ambos lados de la península, solo tienes 1 hora y media hasta Homer o Seward con muchos pueblos pequeños en el camino y solo 45 minutos hasta el río Russian cerca de la hermosa ciudad de Cooper Landing. También hay varias atracciones escénicas para sus oportunidades de fotos.

Fuera de la cubierta hay un gran patio delantero que tiene una barbacoa, pozo de fuego w / patio, columpio, pozo de herradura, mitones de murciélago y un aro de baloncesto en el camino de entrada. Para su comodidad, hay una estación de limpieza de pescado cubierta, algunos bastones de pesca, un congelador grande y un refrigerador adicional afuera. También hay un camino de gran tamaño / área de estacionamiento que puede acomodar vehículos recreativos, barcos o remolques.

The cabin was set up really well for families and small groups. Had all the amenities needed for being outdoors in Alaska. Definitely will book for our next trip. Erik/Jodi were extremely responsive and accommodating.

The property was even better in person, it’s a great location, it had everything you could need and more for your vacation and the owners were amazing! The personal touches and extras were a nice surprise and made the trip and stay even more special!

Amazing house for a big family

We loved the property . Eric and Jodi took detailed care of all the details small or big to make sure guests feel comfortable and at home. We will stay again when we visit Alaska.

Great Vacation Stay

Location was very centralized for our itinerary. Kitchen was perfect for cooking and feeding 12 adult men for two weeks. Our host was very accommodating and helpful. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

Family get away

Wonderful home and hosts! Everything was spot on and we felt so welcomed. They have gone the extra mile to make this location perfect and fun for all!! So many wonderful memories made. Can’t wait to return!!

Awesome Place - Great Host!

Our stay included 8x retired military on a guys fishing trip for 10 days (Russian River Reds/Homer Halibut). The cabin was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed and more. Greatly appreciate everything. It was an absolute pleasure meeting you guys!

Beautiful location

Secluded property with a great out door space. The house worked great for our 2 families. The rooms were so insulated and quiet that it made it easy to sleep at night. Lots of great fishing gear to use and a freezer for fish!

Family Salmon Run

Beautiful property that was perfect for the salmon run. With a family of 10 people, this cabin was spacious and met our needs. Owners were fantastic and welcoming. Jodi was so kind to pick up groceries for breakfast due to our late night arrival and offered to let us stay later in the day for our late night departure. We will definitely book again if available when we come back to Alaska.

Incredible!

The property was beautiful and so clean. It had everything we needed, including some furry friends that live outside! The owners were so sweet and answered any questions immediately. We had 8 adults and 1 toddler stay for a week and it was perfect! Couldn't recommend more!

This was our second time staying at this property and it was perfect! The owners have thought of everything. The location was great as a base camp, and our large group had everything that we needed to enjoy 7 nights on the Kenai Peninsula. We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas, fire pit, yard games and covered porch. We spent every evening playing games and talking about our adventures from the day. Thanks again, Painters!

The Moose Lodge

We arrived and checked in a little early. Everyone in our family was amazed with the accommodations provided by Jodi and Erik. From the ready to use kitchen to the comfy beds this house, the location and everything about it were just perfect for our 10 day vacation. I would recommend this propety to everyone looking for a quiet, off the beaten path get away. The cow moose and her 2 calves visited often and were a sight for all to see.

From the first time we drove onto the property until we departed, this is by far the most down home and fantastic place we’ve stayed at. The most adorable house in Alaska!!!!

We were greeted by welcomed house owners. This house has everything, toys, strollers, DVDs for kids, games. House is gorgeous with so many amenities. Id recommend it to everyone. Loved staying there for 8 days. Thank you so much!!!!!!

A slice of paradise in Alaska

We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this home and property were. We knew it would be from the photos, but in person it's even better! Perfect for the 7 of us! We loved the location! Had a blast playing badminton, smores by the fire pit and just enjoying the surroundings. The house itself is fabulous, great space, super clean and was perfect for our group. Owners were quick to answer any questions, and very helpful with information. We were so sad to leave. Location is perfect as it's in between Seward & Homer. Thank you so much!

Great Experience

We had a great week-long stay here, and everything was perfect! The owners left the most thoughtful welcome gifts and the welcome binder included everything that we needed to know for our stay. We had 3 kids age 3-8 with us, and the outdoor spaces and toys were invaluable. We enjoyed nice evenings on the deck and around the fire pit, and if it was raining, we retreated to the covered area out back and enjoyed the gas fire and yard games. The fishing poles and waders were much appreciated, and the fish cleaning station and large freezer space came in handy. The owners have thought of everything, and we're very responsive to any questions. We would stay again!

Family reunion on the peninsula.

Very nice place with plenty of room. Great kitchen and dining area for entertaining. Beautiful master suite and en-suite bathroom. Upstairs bedroom/ family room was perfect for the kids. Plenty to keep the children occupied and entertained. The swing set was a hit as was the fire pit and making s’mores. Next time we will make plans to go fishing as this is the perfect place for a small or large group to bring back their catch, clean it, store it and cook it. You have the option of cooking and entertaining either indoors or outdoors. Indeed the property owners thought of everything.

As advertised!

I don’t think a better VRBO exists on the Kenai Peninsula. Jodi and Erik were outstanding hosts. They have the mindset of trying to set you up with everything you’d need/want on an Alaskan vacation. So thorough and thoughtful. I knew they had supplies but I did not know they took so much time and effort to make sure everything was perfect. Jodi was so responsive if we ever had a question or a need. We had a group of 10 ages 16-71 and everyone had a great time, from fishing, bbq, yard games and recommendations… everything was perfect!

Perfect Set up for a Family get together

We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs in the past. This is by far the best accommodations we have encountered. The Painters family home was able to accommodate a wide variety of ages 68- 10 months old . The house was spotless and offered many additions that made our stay enjoyable even during torrential rains. The pavilion next to the fish cleaning area was a big hit . The creative hook the fish game was enjoyed by all. The large yard with the swingset and fire pit was a favorite of the grandchildren. Cooking was a breeze in the well stocked kitchen. Too many thoughtful details to mention them all . Had a great time hope to return soon !
