"The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!"

"The hotel is operated by the School of Hospitality and Hotel Management and they gave us an excellent stay. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful and check-in was very easy. They gave us a list of their recommended restaurants in the area and they were separated by cuisine type which made finding dinner easy.
