"We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The location is perfect, sitting right on the local canal in a very picturesque village. The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. A very peaceful and authentic experience."

The hosts were welcoming and friendly, they made us feel very at home and were very attentive throughout our time. Great location and a short 5 minute drive to Haworth. "The property is in a good location for the First Arena Direct. The apartments are functional but lack character and warmth, they are very clinical. The air conditioning is awful and the bedroom was like a hot house, even with a fan on!!! That is in November!
If I had been on my own I would have not stayed as there is no lock nor security bar on the back of the door, anyone with access to a key could come in and you would be none the wiser, until it is too late. I would not recommend for solo...

"We chose this location primarily for its proximity to Denholme where we were staying for a friends birthday party.
In particular , the main features were space for a family of 5 and being pet friendly .
The host , Sophie provided all details needed and reassurance, as our first time booking a private house for an overnight stay . The price was reasonable for the accommodation and it did everything we needed . The area is a quiet pleasant suburb with a small convenience store round the corner ....
