"My wife and I were traveling from Colorado Springs to Albuquerque and wanted to stop along the way to break up the trip. This property fit the bill to a tee. The apartment was clean and stocked with everything (even sodas and some cookies), The bed we used was fantastic. We liked it so much we went shopping and made our own supper. The property manager communicated effectively."

"Neat place, close to everything. Host was super responsive. Particularly liked that there were lots of coffee options and plenty of utensils for those who (like me) like to cook their own food. Also close to a park with a walking/running trail.Will definitely stay there again!"

"Wow! This place is a slice of heaven! The peace, connection, and awe we felt for the land and our time together was incredible. Judy and Craig have this place outfitted. Very well equipped. The propane cook burners are bigger than I thought. Great quality. I was cooking for my family of six. They even have automatic outdoor lights so you can see at night if you need to make a trip to the restroom. The cleared trails make for some great walks as a family. I love birding and this location gives...

"Our hosts (G&M) were very responsive, provided fresh cookies, an extra reclining lawn chair, and gave us a great tip to view dark-sky stars over at nearby Trinidad Lake. I highly recommend you give this tiny home a visit if in the area."

"We love staying in the Amazing Historic 1800s Carriage House! It is the perfect home away from home and we always try to get it when we know our July travel dates. Nathan, the host, and Karen, the housekeeper and very accommodating and made sure every need was met. Bonus: The bed is so comfortable. "

"good place to just get away from all the noise of everyday life and watch a great sunset. do be aware though there are some cactuses around the property so if you have an animal bring some boots and tweezers for them"

"Great 2 bed room house with all the amenities. Full kitchen with 2 full bathrooms and laundry room. Quiet neighborhood, close to downtown Trinidad. Excellent check in and check out. We will be staying again in the future. "

"The porch pictures caught my attention on this sight, and we spent most time out there for fabulous conversations and around the large dining table.What a gem place for a gathering! Charming and beautiful, with welcoming touches in every room."

"This is the third year in a row to stay here and next year will be number 4. It’s a great house in a great location run/owned by wonderful people. Other than the insane heat this year (not their fault) it was perfect. See y’all next year!"

"Your home was delightful! Very spacious, cozy, clean and affordable! You guys thought of every detail to make us feel at home—down to the long drive for folks like us traveling through with a trailer. We prefer to stay at a place like this as opposed to a hotel so this is exactly what we were looking for. Easy to find and right off the interstate. We will definitely stay again if we make it back to Trinidad. "
