"It was nice and spacious. A lovely location. Issues - Firstly, we arrived to find dirty dishes, garbage still in the bathroom and overall not cleaned properly. This isn't an issue with the owner as they were responsive when we brought it up but still we had to clean. The dirty linens were left in the washer, which we understood would happen. "My wife and I spent four nights in this duplex cottage in the town of Hellnar on the Snaefellsbaer Peninsula. We were greeted by an amazing display of the Northern Lights on our first night. The place was comfortable and quiet and had all the amenities needed to feel like home for a few days. The views are stunning--the sea in one direction and mountains and the volcano that dominates the west end of the peninsula in the other.
