"Perfect Stay for Our Mount Katahdin Adventure! We came to hike Mount Katahdin, and Elizabeth’s place was absolutely perfect for us! The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. We loved being able to cook our hiking meals in the well-equipped kitchen before heading out—just a quick 25-minute drive to Baxter State Park. You really can’t beat this location if you’re visiting the park. Thank you, Elizabeth, for providing such a wonderful and comfortable space. We made memories here...

"This venue supported our first family reunion since 1992 and it was so good to us. Some spent the night very well accommodated. Some day tripped. They even checked in with us when we arrived to see if we needed anything and answered questions we had about the area. Lots of info and recommendations about the area provided in the cabin. The view from the bright windows facing the lake was phenomenal (water and boulders, a mountain, loons, bald eagles) but, even more impressive, was the extreme cleanliness of the cabin!!! "Clean, quiet, and everything we needed! David was also very responsive to the couple of questions I had the first night. Came into town with a friend to hike in Baxter and this was a great place to relax and recuperate. Close enough to any gas stations, grocery stores or restaurants you may need. Awesome overall."

"Loved the house and location but you really NEED to put a notification in the listing that the water from the faucet is not drinkable! It is pumped in from the lake. The only place that I found that told this, was in the booklet about the rules of the house. You did however supply a gallon of water in the frig. Thanks for that! I would have been prepared for no drinkable water if I had known in advance by bringing more water or my backpacking filter! There NEEDS to be a sign by the faucets...

"Beautiful waterfront. Having a canoe and two kayaks on property was great for the four of us. Didn’t see a moose though (much sadness). Nice kitchen layout. Baxter state park was only about a 30 minute drive. Host was great and helped us work thru any issues we had. "

"Beautiful camp in an amazing spot, very private, sitting on the edge of the lake. The camp was awesome, giant windows lakeside, good size deck hanging over the water, updated kitchen/bathroom. Easy to communicate with the host. We really couldn't have asked for anything more. Hope to visit again someday. "
