Hodnett Cooper is proud to offer this lovely 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home, just half a mile from the Village.

12 Live Oak is situated among a select group of vacation cottages. The house is a short walk or bike ride to the beach, village, pier, shops and restaurants.

This home features a great open floor plan perfect for entertaining with a spacious kitchen open to the dining area. The adjacent living area features a gas fireplace, hardwood floors and entry onto the screened in porch. Very cute!

Pets are accepted for a $150 non-refundable fee.

This property is the perfect spot close to the beach, pier, and restaurants. This was our second time staying here, and again it did not disappoint.

Beautiful cottage

Cottage was very pretty, clean & had everything we needed. It is located in a pretty area. Two things about this property is that it faces busy Demere Rd which is noisy as well as the back faces 2 other rental cottages, which can be noisy. 2nd thing is you can walk to a beach but you will need a wagon to take items with you & it is a long walk. There wasn’t a place to park. We found driving to Massengil Park was easier.

Great St. Simon rental

House was very cute and a good location. It was close to beach (quick car or golf cart ride) and also to the pier and restaurants. It would have been nice to have a few extras like beach stuff or bikes but did ok without.

Great rental!

The house is much larger and nicer than appears from listing, and the location and neighborhood is lovely. This was the perfect rental for a few couples to stay in, or a family. The house was immaculately cleaned when we arrived. Working with the rental company was a breeze as well, check-in, check-out, and all communication was so clear and easy. We are bookmarking this exact house for our trip next year because it was so perfect.

Lovely House!

My daughter & I were very comfortable n this lovely home. It was immaculate, beds were comfortable, we enjoyed all three porches. Everything you need was there. We had some issues with the TV’s & I because of the weekend it didn’t get resolved until Mon. We did have a toilet with gushing water but we were able to turn off water source valve until Mon repair. We enjoyed this stay, but do think the site info needs to be updated. This property is much better than its picture. Location is convenient to Village & Beach within walking distance. Wish there were bikes to use & there was pool access. Community pool doesn’t open until 5/31. We would definitely stay here again, but prefer a pool & a bit closer to the beach & water view. Another rental property in this lovely cluster of houses unfortunately hosted multiple families with big dogs that barked all day & many screaming children which affected our stay in a wonderful environment.

Beach House

We very much enjoyed our stay at this rental. The house was much larger than expected and it was very clean. It had everything we needed, and we loved the variety of porches and beach decor. We also enjoyed the location because it was centrally located to both the beach and village!

Very nice stay

Cute cottage, lots of room. Nice gas fireplace and three different porches that were all enjoyed. Well stocked, clean, good lighting. (at first lighting was not great, then figured out there are little slides next to the switches to dim and brighten. Never seen anything like that!) Beds were comfortable. Nice walk through neighborhood to beach access. Only disappointment was the street it is on is pretty busy and even though the speed limit is suppose to be 25 MPH everyone drove faster and it was noisy when sitting in the front porch rockers.

The cottage was very sweet and the half bath downstairs was the best!! Also patio upstairs was fun

The decor was great. The location was perfect because it was close to the beach and also downtown. It was clean and will stocked with kitchen supplies. Everything you needed. We enjoyed our weekend. We would have liked a few more pillows. We had 7 people and had to take pillows from other beds with shams to provide a pillow for 7 th person. Also with 7 females we would have liked a little more toilet paper. We just went a purchased more

Fun! As always . Biking distance to downtown and beach.

Great property! Loved the 3 p0rches. Cable and internet were superb. Decorations and decor designer perfect, Although perfect for families, also great for couples. Definitely stay there again.

Great place for a low-budget beach vacation

We rented the house for 6 people and it was the perfect size for us! The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up some lunches every day and the house itself was very clean. We were also walking distance to the pier but decided to drive when we went to the beach since we had more to carry. Our only complaint was that the rug and the living room furniture could use a good cleaning but we thew a blanket over the couch and called it a day. Would definitely stay again!

Fabulous long weekend getaway!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home is quite comfortable and the outdoor porches were wonderful. We were able to walk to Mallory St. several times, so the house is in a great location. We spent some time in Fern Village and East Beach. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

Family Beach House

We were very pleased with the location and house. The house was well furnished and comfortable. The house was a little too close to the other the cottages. This was a problem for me because the neighbors had pools and children and were quite noisey during the weekend days.

Beach vacation !

Nice property in a great location for a family vacation. Clean and bright. Love the porches and hang out areas within the house. Location is great. We rented both bikes and a golf cart and they were perfect for quick access to beaches and shops etc. Check in and communication were great throughout process !

Great first time stay in this house

We’ve been to SSI several times, but this was our first time in this home. Everything was great. Good location, lots of space. The porches are amazing, especially during a rain shower which is likely to happen at least once while your in SSI. I would recommend scanning the house once when you arrive if you have a toddler. Lots of nice decorations within reach of little hands. Not a problem to just move them out of reach.
